AIBU?

to have a stationary fetish...

I know, I know, a wee bit shallow... but I am already looking for my next diary and I am wondering if anyone has any great diary they recommend? I used Moleskine in the past which is great, but I am now tempted to go back to my first love... the Filofax!

If you too have a stationary fetish and strong ideas about diaries, please share.

Thanks

Glad the pedants got here first so I didn't need to say it Smile. (e is for envelope, a is for stand).

Muji did a great A5 diary last year. I've loved my 2012 one: week to view on left, squared paper on right, pale lines, lots of space at the back for scribbling). But I bought that in the age of affluence. For 2013 I've bought an 80p exercise book, a 40p plastic cover and I've made my own...

Dammit, the pedants beat me to it.

Stationery is marvellous stuff. My mum & I love new pens, notebooks, pencil cases. She's possibly more addicted than I am though.

I love my trusty Filofax, I strayed once and regretted it.

Pens, note pads, staplers, post it notes, they all take me to my happy saddo accountant place :)

Sorry, OP, still not tackling the diary question, but I guess all you stationery-lovers have heard this radio programme?
A friend drew it to my attention knowing my passion for all things pen, paper and notebook-related.....

I love all things paper, and everything ever invented to compliment it... whether it's stationary or stationery. Though I have never see stationary in motion.

YANBU! Can I butt in and ask where you stationery lovers buy unruled notebooks from that are pretty, hard backed and don't cost a fortune???

You can't beat a lovely moleskine.

I bought a Moleskine after reading about it on a thread on here.

Couldn't do it...trotted back to my trusty Filofax!

The thing about a Filofax, for me is, (and I've had them before) I feel like delboy trotter Grin remember the episode when he's in the wine bar? I would do something like falling through the hatch too Grin

aldiwhore Boville's do nice ones with lovely patterns and hard covers with a magnetic flip fastening. I have a few, some are too nice to write in.

I have just got a new fountain pen. I don't need one. I just love them and it was half price.

Someone needs to hypnotise me out of this Blush
