Jimmy Saville. Too many victims and from my perspective too much of a wrong feeling about him even as a child. Shame he couldn't have been brought to justice when he was alive to stop the sympathy he will get for being tried when he's dead.

due to the MN 'we belive you' no ifs no buts, i would say to those who have come forward I BELIVE YOU.

i never has sympathy for the dead, only the grieving family

Its a good point and I agree with you, he should have suffered while alive and its a bloody shame people were too scared to come out sooner!

He was one of those people. As a child he made my skin creep and I never really liked him.

Now I know why.

Missnever me too and I was hyper sensitive to men and how they are as an abused child myself. He always made me really uncomfortable.

It is a wholly unsatisfying situation. Those making claims will never quite get their closure or justice (in seeing anyone punished) and Jimmy won't get a 'fair' trial given that he is unable to defend himself.

I never liked him. Was it intuition? I don't know but ...........

We cannot give an opinion until we have evidence one way or the other. That's only fair really, isn't it? I would not be surprised if it came to anything though ...........

J Saville always seemed totally creepy to me even when I was very young. In fact I don't know of anyone he didn't creep out. Speaks volumes about the BBC that they couldn't see what was in front of their noses.

It's also fairly well known that abusers often try to get into 'worthy' positions to cloak themselves with respectability. Hence the charity work stuff. I know of 2 women who were abused by men who were pillars (or should that be pillocks) of the local church.
