Brew Brew Brew while you're thinking about it.

DH thinks IABU. My excuse/reasoning if I need one baby DD and I are full of cold and been awake through the night. After the school run we both fell asleep and I've only just finished my first cup so really I missed my breakfast cup and I'm just catching up. Right?

AIBU?

YANBU. Make sure you have plenty of Biscuit to go with it. And it sounds like you might need the Wine tonight!

I'm up 5 hrs and have had 4 cups. I'm vibrating ever so slightly. Must switch to decaf.

I'm just about to make the third Brew of tea in 2 hours. So yes, go for it. And tell your DH to keep his views about your coffee consumption to himself!

Pandemoniaa · 27/09/2012 11:34

Oh, and have a Biscuit or several while you are at it. You've got energy levels to keep up.

Don't think of it as 2 separate coffees. Just think that you need to buy a really big mug.

Thank you I feel much better now and will enjoy both the {brew] and Biscuit
Also don't tell but I have Wine in the fridge so might be tempted later. Ecgwynn I have the best sort of MIL, lives overseas and greets me with Wine , chocolate, sweets and strong Brew on the odd occasions we do visit! Ooh and she doesn't like flying so no surprise visits either!

I had a Tassimo Costa coffee at 8 (an hour after my first tea) and a fresh brewed coffee at work at 9.30 and wanted another straight after but resisted. Am bored at work though and fear a second coffee would have had me reaching for the Biscuits and I'm trying to keep the weight I recently lost off!

Might have a tea now though. The most worrying thing is that I'm already looking forward to a glass of red when I get home tonight and it's still morning!

smoothieooo Costa or any other coffee outlet coffee doesn't count surely? or work coffee part of the job description. I only count coffees made by my own fair hand, with a kettle and jar of granules. The others are different :)

I need more. I've only had one and I'm flagging. Coffee/tea are necessary fuels!

DameFanny · 27/09/2012 12:06

Coffee made with granules isn't coffee.

Life its too short for instant coffee.

(gavel time anybody?)

Sounds like a plan!

You need a two-cup coffee pot and a mahoosive American-style mug. Then you can have two helpings in one mug.

It's not as if there's something wildly antisocial and uncouth about mild caffiene jitters, which is the worst you'll get.

Why would anyone care how much coffee someone else drank? Grin

I virtually inhale it. I don't even think caffeine has an effect now, I am like a long standing drug user who has to increase the amount he takes to get a hit. Grin

Oh yeah, and instant coffee?

Does not count towards your five-a-day.

Gavel.
