AIBU?

To be disgusted in dirty habits of women at work

I cannot believe how many times i have been in the ladies toilets at my work lately to be greeted by, and there's no nicer way of putting this, a mess in the bowl. I think it is disgusting that anyone would leave this for the next person to come along and can't believe it happens so often in the ladies. Why should i have to keep flushing other peoples business away just because they are too lazy and shameless. Then there's the getting out of the toilet quickly in case someone thinks it was me......euwww it makes me sick.
I want to write a note on the door that gets the point across any suggestions Smile

Seriously, you need suggestions on what to write on the note?

Have a word with management

"Please leave this toilet as you would like to find it. Thank you"

Or

"Have you remembered to flush? And don't forget to wash your hands too."

"smile you're on cctv you dirty bitch" should do the trick!

Good God

Why do threads (not washing hands after loo) always spawn loads of similar threads?

I've worked in offices for the past 20 years and never found an abundance of shit in the toilets.

Where do you work, the zoo?

Or are you offended by any trace of human waste?

It's the overfilled sanitary bins that give me the boak. Just report it needs replaced to housekeeping lazy cow instead of ramming a used sanitary towel in the lid and leaving it half hanging out gross!

But how embarrassing is it when you use a public loo and no matter how many times you pull the flush it just WON'T work?

YANBU-ish

BUT it does sometimes happen that something doesn't flush first time, the refill takes ages and you've got to dash to a meeting.

But it is generally possible to tell the difference between a failed attempt and no attempt having been made. If it's the second then YANBU at all.

it's not the "abundance of shit" Grin more the fact it is grown women. Maybe I'm just unfortunate to work with a right bunch of filthy beggars

There are notices on all our ladies toilets saying "please leave this toilet in a condition that you would wish to find it - thank you"

Report
Bilbobagginstummy · 25/09/2012 16:05

Ours also say "please use the brush and remember to flush".

Poetry in the most unlikely places.

Somebody in the last building I worked in would have some sort of bottom explosion first thing in the morning, didn't appear to use any toilet paper to wipe themselves, and would just leave it spattering the sides of the toilet bowl without even attempting to flush. I don't know how this person could keep doing it undetected but it continued for months.

There's a woman in this building who leaves used tissues on the counter top behind the wash basins. It would appear she either picks her nose or squeezes a spot or something in the mirror, then just drops the tissue instead of putting it in the bin. Such bizarre behaviour Confused.

TBH, if it is such a regular occurrence, I'd be more inclined to wonder if there was a problem with the plumbing rather than the hygiene standards of my colleagues ...

I have a belter than happened today. I was in college and went for a wee in the middle of my lesson. Went in, had a wee and while I was drying my hands the two girls who were in the other two cubicles came out with this.
Girl 1: "Ooooh I've dropped my polos in the toilet!"
Girl 2: "Oh no!"
Girl 1: "It's okay. They landed on the toilet paper".
Eeeeewww

If you sprinkle
While you tinkle
Be a sweetie
Wipe the seatie.

(This makes me boak more than wee splatters, but you're welcome to try it.)

It's often the same where I work, some people are just disgusting.

I remember once someone had shoved a bloody piece of tissue back in the roll dispenser, the lady who pulled it out was understandably furious and disgusted.

It's not as bad as it used to be but it puzzles me how people feel that its ok to leave toilets in such a state.

I wrote you a haiku

Don't let it linger
Flush once and if you need to
Flush it once again.

I guess sometimes the flush doesn't work, but what I find really disgusting and think there is no excuse for is leaving the seat manky. It doesn't take much effort to give it a wipe over with some tissue does it?! Makes me gag to enter a cubicle and find 'debris' on the seat. I'd be ashamed to pee (or worse) on the site and walk out and leave it for the next person. Yuk Yuk yuk.
