Just a bit meatier that a tuna mayo I would have thought?

squeaky, he hasn't tasted it yet!!

There was left over swordfish which he had for dinner last night, but it was hot with butter and lemon last night. I just mashed it upo with some mayo and lemon this morning thinking it'd be a bit like tuna mayo.......it didn't look like tuna mayo though.

And lemon mayo? Envy sounds good to me.

Are you afraid it looks boaky then?

tinned tuna is very different to fresh tuna though..

As long it doesn't still have the sword attachedWink, it'd be like any other fish sandwich. It's been a while since I've eaten swordfish but IIRC the taste/smell isn't overpowering. Should be fine, unless he gets into trouble for using his lunch as a weapon...

nah, I dont really like fish tbh. he likes fish - we all had Lasagna last night he doesn't like it so had the fish instead but there was too much for one dinner.

Love swordfish. That's a posh sarnie he's got.

Drink, yeah. Tho to be fair it's prbably the mayo rather than the fish that I am thinking is the issue. He likes tinned mackerel in olive oil on his sandwiches straight from the tin. But the swordfish looked a bit dry - maybe I should have put a bit olive oil on it instead?

lol - no swordfish still attached - it was a steak type bit of fish - just like tuna steak but not like tinned tuna, you are right squeaky

mum11970 It wasn't too bad - it was about £2 for two reasonable sized slices/steaks, he had the bigger of the two for dinner last night (with cheesy pasta so not toooo healthy :o)

Yanbu. He is 12. Don't they usually just inhale their food without thinking about it? love swordfsh and lived on it in Italy. It's meaty...he'll be happy.

not at all pombear - I was just sitting with a cheese and ham sandwich and couldn't get the thought that his sandwich looked a bit odd! No salad and it's on white bread Shock

BigFat - lol - sometimes he does, he has a bit of an issue with some foods though - he cannot eat any fruit that is in the slightest way imperfect and he examines it thoroughly and he also doesn't like certain foods touching - even if he likes them both!!

I sort of looks like Tuna - I don't think it benefitted from a night in the fridge. - maybe it'll warm up a bit in his sandwich box and that'll help Hmm
