coming round 10 mins after dh got home (so car outside) i answered the door and she asked for him then asked him if he had a mobile she could borrow to call her ex boyfriend who has been texting her saying he's coming to see her but she cant reply and tell him not to (she told him this) while talking to dh in a sickly sweet (do you know what i mean?) voice

i have a perfectly good mobile she could have asked to use but she asked for dh instead

we arent friends with her or anything like that, she knows us both as neighbours and thats it

Because if her Ex calls your DHs mobile, there will be a big hairy fella on the end and hopefully the Ex will get the message to bugger off!

LOL - I was just assuming she's playing mind games with her Ex

Maybe she is hoping the ex will think she has whacked up with your dp?

It seemed like an excuse for her to announce that she is now single. Or perhaps she just wasn't thinking?

It was a pretty off thing to do, yeah.

Too add. Whatever the reaon, it was pretty rude of her not to say why your phone wasn't suitable. You don't just go to someone's house and do that kind of thing without explaining why you need one phone but the other. Especially since the woman made it pretty obvious that it HAD to be her DH's phone.

As I said earlier though, she probably wasn't thinking. Wait to see what happens if she pops round again.
