To want Mumsnet competitions to be more about skill than filling in your details again?

I know that the comps are really part promotions for the companies who give the prizes...so they want a LOT of entries don't they...so the companies get our email addresses etc.

BUT....I think there's a lot to be said for more old fashioned comps...those ones where they ask you to say in less than so many words why you love Hovis or something!

They're fun! I hate entering prize draws as it's ALWAYS down to chance isn't it? I'd rather exercise my brain a bit.

SO MNHQ can''t we have at least ONE skill based comp a month please? I know Barclays are doing one for the DC atm. But what about us? And AIBU to think this everyone?
