AIBU?

To leave my copy of 50 shades in the book swap

Our campsite has a book swap, but the only book I have to swap is 50 shades. I've got my eye on a Marion Keyes book, but do you think I should put a health warning on the cover of 50 shades before I leave it in?

I should think somebody will have snapped it up before you've got back to your tent. I doubt a health warning's required, there's been so much publicity lately.

Put it in just before someone who definitely needs that kind of book comes along

I reckon a few copies will be fueling campfires before the summer is out so why not.

What, a warning to say that it is a massively disappointing insult to the name of erotica?

Agree with seeker people have to be warned about this crime againsed erotic literature.

DH has now said he wants to read it, so I have, a bit unsportingly, taken the Marion Keyes book anyway without putting anything in in return.

I thought it was quite good, although I am no expert on erotic literature, so have nothing to compare it to (a bit like Anastasia?). I thought it was like a triple X rated Bridget Jones 2 The Edge of Reason, what with the flirtatious e-mail banter, a scatty, clumsy, but adorable heroine; and Christian Grey as the Hugh Grant character.

I think Renee Zellwigger would make quite a good screen Anastasia.

Vixeen & Seeker, have you any good recommendations for other books?
