I threw a hissy in a cafe once and refused to eat or pay for the fry up I ordered, cos it was advertised with 'bread and butter' but they put Stork on it

My nan did that Viva, she had it in a flask when she drove up to see us, she always offered us some.

We had marg but it wasn't Stork. It was in a blue and yellow tub IIRC.

Nope - we never had this. Just as well really as my Mum had this weird idea that if we left food then she would just bring it back day after day until it got eaten. That didn't work either!

In the 80's my mother who was forever on a diet of ryvita would use some godawful spread called outline. It was vile, and me and my dad would insist on having real butter.. something I insist on to this day. I hate spreads and the only thing other than butter that I dont mind is the spreadable butter that is softened with olive oil.

That was vitalite I think. We had stork too, and when mum was on a diet something beginning with O, it was awful.
