It is rubbish when they wake you and you're the one then struggling to get back to sleep. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm now trying to get DS back to sleep whilst DH starts snoring! I'm not happy! Angry

DH had Norovirus couple of days ago and this evening it caught up with me. I'm currently flitting between the settee and bathroom. Delightful.

My 18 month old daughter has just been screaming for her blankie which her 3 year old brother had hidden in a toy chest Angry

and then i bit the inside of my mouth Angry

elsathelion - I used to get the insomnia in my last pregnancy, it was the same time every night, about 4.30. I was 37 weeks and woke as usual at 4.30 and my waters went Shock I hadn't moved a muscle, just lay there and they went - pop.

Report
Elsathelion · 25/04/2012 04:59

Ooh recall how interesting ... Will position a towel close to the bed just in case! Helpfully the insomnia tends to disappear as soon as I need to get up, at which point I can usually drift off just fine, especially if there's anything I really need to do!

I hope blankie is working its magic and your mouth feels better soon x

Am up with poorly 8mo DS, who is dealing with his cough/cold in typical male fashion i.e.non-stop moaning.

Up and researching resources for later on this week. But I'll also be marking books for an hour before breakfast.
It's the quietest time in our house, and I can spread stuff all over the floor without anyone else fussing.
