Who needs whales and 'white noise', apparently background football commentary and shouting crowds are the best sleep aid available. For him anyway... Grin

The F1 has the same effect on mine too.. and he always falls asleep clutching the remote for dear life...

Mine let's go of the remote at least, but honestly, why do they bother watching it if they're just going to sleep thru the whole thing, every, single, time... :)

My Dad always slept through rugby until the second you changed the channel.
Every weekend without fail. 10 minutes into the match. Seemed to still always know the score somehow despite the snoring.

I often doze on the sofa after a night shift, and my preferred background noise is BBC News24. I wake if the channel is changed, too.

turn the volume down gradually, THEN change channel - they don't wake up that way [wise]
