AIBU?

I am obsessed with Fireman Sam's surname

Everyone else has a surname, why not Sam?

We know he's uncle to the Jones twins, but not whether he's brother to Charlie or Bronwen (assuming they're married and she took Charlie's name of course).

Perhaps he's Sam Samuels, like Tom Thomas.

Or maybe Sam is his surname. In which case I need to know his first name.

Perhap's he's Station Officer Steele's son, and so everyone calls him Sam to avoid unnecessary confusion.

Come to that, what's Trevor's surname?

DS2 has been up since 4:55 and we've been watching his new Fireman Sam DVD on loop. Can you tell?

I always thought Trevor's name was Evans?

Punkchick is right.

Sam is Charlie's brother.

And why are all the children in Pontypandy aged 7? Was there a mass Bacchanalia eight years ago which resulted in Sarah, James, Mandy and Norman? It would go some way to explaining the mystery of Norman's parentage...

Trevor's definitely Trevor Evans, I wind DS1 up with it regularly...
"Hey Mum, I'm Fireman Sam!"
"No, DS1. No you are not. You are Trevor Evans, now get back on your bus!"

And what really happened to Bella Linguine? Enquiring minds need to know.

You're right about Trevor - he's definitely an Evans.

Oh, we all know who Normans dad is, don't we - it's Sam, it has to be - because they are the only two in PontyPandy with ginger hair.

And yes, Trevor is an Evans, though it's strage he only drives a bus now as he used to be a reserve firefighter.

When I say the mystery of Norman's parentage, I really mean the "mystery" Wink of Norman's parentage...

Who fathered Wooley's little Lambikins? No rams in Pontypandy that I can see.

That might have been Sam too y'know... Wink

Now I come to think of it, I think Bella's surname was Lasagne, not Linguine...

So we think Sam fathered Norman and Lambikins.

Did he also do in Bella? Maybe he's a psychopath and the nicey-nicey demeanour is just a facade.

God, I'm bored.

For some reason DH decided that I needed a bottle of Ameretto this year rather than the usual Baileys. Am very tempted to crack it open. But can't because DS3 is breastfeeding

Don't think Bob the builder has a surname but apparently his parents are called Dorothy and Robert.
