LadyEvenstarsCoven Tue 25-Oct-11 20:04:52

Agent Can you please send him back? This urchin I have here is currently telling me he is not going to go to bed until I say yes to him watching a soldier film, yes to him having pepsi, yes to him going to the pub to play snooker (he has never done this).

itspeanutbutterjellytime Tue 25-Oct-11 20:05:46

Hahaha! The pub?!

I blame the parents.

CrystalQueen Tue 25-Oct-11 20:07:34

Crystal sad If ou find them can you send him back please?

IPBJT Its not funny he is genuinly distraught because he can't go to the pub - I am consoling him with my mobile phone app "Istory"

Happymm Tue 25-Oct-11 20:16:20

Is possibly due to the testosterone surge boys get at that age, but agree, Agent, give him up! grin

How's the finger Lady?x

LadyEvenstarsCoven Tue 25-Oct-11 20:18:35

Happy, its doing really well!! still tender where the new skin is growing and swollen but am able to use it and am tying with it as i type this.

Also no I refuse to believe its testosterone as he is my baby I think Agent really has stolen him its cos he has curls you see!!

MrBloomsNursery Tue 25-Oct-11 20:18:37

NO! Not testosterone surge. My nearly 4 year old DD has started answering back and today she called me...."POO POO MUMMY" shock.

What happens to them when they hit 4?? sad

LadyEvenstarsCoven Tue 25-Oct-11 20:22:05

Mr, DS2 today told me

"You are a flat head"
"I love you poo poo brains"
"Let me go to the pub and play snooker and have lemonade with a pink straw tonight or I won't go to bed you poo bum"

MrBloomsNursery Tue 25-Oct-11 20:26:30

grin That's hilarious! I love "poo bum" and "flat head"!! I also got called "smelly baby nappy poo"...If only she knew how sweet I thought her baby poo was when she was born grin

Happymm Tue 25-Oct-11 20:28:47

shock <faints>

None of mine have ever called me poo poo head! DD cried when a boy at school called her that. Yes to testosterone surge though with boys-def noticed it with DS1-though he didn't ever request a trip to the pub-just necked tinnies at homegrin

Won't tell you about my other sweet boy, who, has finally started talking <v proud emoticon> Came out with "me luff you mummy,... Always" big tears from mummy.

Glad to hear about the finger!

Andrewofgg Tue 25-Oct-11 20:33:27

PMSL like every parent who has more or less successfully brought DC(s) to adulthood: because, OP, you ain't seen nothing yet!

LadyEvenstarsCoven Tue 25-Oct-11 20:34:38

grin for your other sweet boy talking!!!!

ds2 is now in bed shouting out
"You are ruining my life, 1 lemonade is all i want" - followed by sobs, I am having to try so hard not to laugh!!!

LadyEvenstarsCoven Tue 25-Oct-11 20:35:44

Andrew, DS1 wasn't like this at this age!!! he was sweet and adorable (ok he was undiagnosed aspergers but he didn't behave like this!!!)

Andrewofgg Tue 25-Oct-11 20:38:28

Lady They will all give you hell sometime, it's the rules!

BOOareHaunting Tue 25-Oct-11 20:40:35

Arf @ 'you're ruining my life - 1 lemonade is all I want' grin

I once when DS was doing the same about going out and not going to bed - gave him a pound, opened the front door, let him out - and shut it again. wink

Suddenly bed seemed like a better option. grin

purplewerepidj Tue 25-Oct-11 20:43:51

blush I have managed to do painting, bathe, spread moisturising lotion on (he hates it), read a story to, and get to sleep 4yo DNephew. It's the first time I've done it alone because he's DP's nephew, who has gone out tonight. It was also my first day in my new job today.

All your experiences just make me think it was even more flukey that I managed it!

Although we did have a lot of hysterically silly giggling at ghost impressions, and calling people cuckoopants...

LadyEvenstarsCoven Tue 25-Oct-11 20:48:39

grrrr @ Ruining his life!!! he is only just 4!!

He will be all loving again in the morning <sigh>

MissVerydead Tue 25-Oct-11 21:07:07

I get- "You are making my time worse, Mummy" and, my very favourite (usually accompanied by sonic wail) "You've ruined my day!!!

She's just 3... Sigh...

Happymm Tue 25-Oct-11 21:32:08

Sweet talker very clever though, realises he can get anything he wants when he does the old me luff you mummy routine wink

AgentZigzag Tue 25-Oct-11 21:35:54

sad <arsey mumble> s'pose I'll have to give him back then.

You're right TLES, it was the curls.

DD2 has them and I'm obsessed really very taken with them grin
