this . Have I missed something? Why would someone want this?

troisgarcons Tue 18-Oct-11 21:26:10

Presumably for their children to play in? or have I wildly missed something?

My first thought is that it was a scam, but their feedback rate is pretty high...

usualsuspect Tue 18-Oct-11 21:27:14

Whats wrong with it?

GreatBallsOfFluff Tue 18-Oct-11 21:27:16

What's wrong with it?

CompleteMug Tue 18-Oct-11 21:27:21

It's a photocopy of the picture of all these items. Not the actual items themselves.

TidyDancer Tue 18-Oct-11 21:27:29

You've missed something trois! It's for a photocopy of the picture. Weird.

ZillionChocolate Tue 18-Oct-11 21:27:35

Can't imagine. You could just print it out from ebay? Maybe contact the seller and ask what it's for? He's not selling (or has sold as far as I can see) anything similarly weird.

PumpkinStars Tue 18-Oct-11 21:28:16

To keep their kids entertained ?? hmm

GreatBallsOfFluff Tue 18-Oct-11 21:28:39

X-post usualsuspect smile

CompleteMug Tue 18-Oct-11 21:28:59

Zillion, agreed. I've just checked too.
Nothing dodgy coming from his activity on eBay. I'm assuming an error on his part?

Bohica Tue 18-Oct-11 21:29:14

hmm I was going to post that some people can't afford to buy things like this new and then saw the description.

troisgarcons Tue 18-Oct-11 21:29:21

Oh lord ... I was only looking @ the picture ....

It's a scam, obviously. The pick up only leads you to believe that it's the real thing, and they're counting on people not bothering to read it properly for the sake of 99p. Like me ahem

usualsuspect Tue 18-Oct-11 21:30:24

oh yeah ,odd

HauntyMython Tue 18-Oct-11 21:30:29

I love these random-shite-on-ebay threads! How bizarre.

Maybe he thinks he's such an awesome photographer that people will bid? hmm

troisgarcons Tue 18-Oct-11 21:30:44

Op is right - scam ..... if you look closer to xmas you will see all sorts including swathes of descriptions, with the small print 'xbox box only' ie no xbox

GreatBallsOfFluff Tue 18-Oct-11 21:31:23

Ah ok I see. How weird. Yup agree, who would want it? But then maybe they're hoping people wouldn't read the description.

CompleteMug Tue 18-Oct-11 21:31:41

It's possible that his account has been hacked - it's known to happen...

HauntyMython Tue 18-Oct-11 21:31:44

ROFL at the photocopy thing too - never heard of the Snipping tool on windows I guess grin

CompleteMug Tue 18-Oct-11 21:32:22

That said, I would have thought that hackers/scammers would have gone for something more lucrative like GHD's or IPhone's....

piprabbit Tue 18-Oct-11 21:32:32

I don't think it's an error on his part.
The title says that it is 'A picture' of the items and the main listing says that it is a photocopy of the listing picture.

Perhaps it's the first time he's tried to scam people?

LynetteScavo Tue 18-Oct-11 21:32:57

They are also selling this.

Makes me want to bang my head on the wall, seeing glued down wooden track. The whole point is that kids develop their track building skills (plus a lot of other skills along the way) by building different tracks themselves!!! angry

But if you want to stifle your children, go ahead. Glue the track down.

They may well grow up to sell photo copies of random crap photos. hmm
