Am I just being precious, or is wearing someone else's underwear just totally disgusting? (female if that makes any difference)

Depends how close the two people are, and if it is clean really..

Depends if it's clean or not...

I think you're being a bit precious. You'd have to know the other person pretty well, but I'd certainly let my friend borrow some clean pants should the need suddenly arise. Or borrow hers.

You do mean washed knickers, don't you? Please tell me you do.

Well yes the worn or unworn aspect is the important one!

Not sure if you're a genuine MNer or a spotty teenager?

But anyway... I suppose it depends on the relationship. I wouldn't do it, I'd rather go commando myself, but I know other people don't feel the same and figure if it's been washed it's fine.... each to their own.

So your stepdaughter borrowed a pair of your knickers that were clean...

Hardly disgusting...

I've worn DH's clean boxers, if that's what you meant?

But no, I doubt I'd share another woman's knickers, even clean ones. No reason behind it, just would be a bit ick.

Well if they were clean out of the drawer, and washed before returning, I don't see anything disgusting about it. Though I'd have to know someone quite well to discuss with them any reasons why I might be in need of a clean set of underwear!

Girl in my school totally got pregnant doing that. Just saying.

Oh I assume that your SD just helped herself to your knickers then?? That would piss me off because I wouldn't want to wear them afterwards.

A friend needed some when she was here a while ago - I had a multipack (yes, I'm that exciting) with some new ones in which I gave her and didn't want back afterwards. I was happy to give them to her, but that's entirely different than someone helping themselves to possibly my favourites which I wouldn't then be able to wear again.

If she just helped herself out of the drawer I'd be annoyed about that aspect...

Im genuine, namechanged as its obvious who I am if she read it. She had no clean ones of her own (as she lives in a pit, and cant be bothered to put her own in the wash) so just helped herself to my nice new pair, and even wiped her make up off with them after (well it looks like she has anyway)

I would just never do that.
