Do politicians really think this makes them sound sincere? Every politician and his dog seem to say it several times in any interview and it is so bloody annoying.
(just watching question time in case you're wondering where the rant came from)

Like Showy says, it's a version of "I'm just about to feed you another lie". On QT tonight everyone except that greasy twat from the Institute For Studies (or wherever, should've paid attention) is running rings round Angela Lansbury. I'm not sure about her haircut though...
