You are being unreasonable to have changed your name.

PeachesMelba Thu 13-Oct-11 21:58:56

I think the feminism bit is scarier than AIBU smile

amistillscary Thu 13-Oct-11 22:01:51

smile I'm not that scary, Peaches!

<<sticks tongues out at Lynette>> Yes, I said tongues. That's how scary I am!

caramelwaffle Thu 13-Oct-11 22:02:31

Yabu. The Property and DIY section is the scariest part at the moment: Zombies and everyfink' shock

Oakmaiden Thu 13-Oct-11 22:05:10

Hm. Maybe I should change my name to "OakFeminist" then, if I want to have the scariest name in Mumsnet....

amistillscary Thu 13-Oct-11 22:05:40

shock I'm off! If I don't come back, I'll have got lost. I've never been there before...

<<wanders off looking vaguely for a map>>

(I am very scared of AnyPhantomFucker actually)

AnyPhantomFucker, ermm...If you don't mind me asking, what does...erm..."shit legs" mean, please?

Have you had a bit of an embarassing accident?

AnyPhantomFucker Thu 13-Oct-11 22:21:42

shit legs are cowardly people

people who say "ohhh I'm scared of perfectly reasonable things"

like feminism, and such like

it's like saying "I am scared of education"

think abahhhhht it

SquirtedZombieJuiceUpNose Thu 13-Oct-11 22:38:36

I'll try out my new name too.

And before anyone else says it, i know I have shit legs.

blackeyedsusan Thu 13-Oct-11 22:41:57

<eyeroll> <tuts>

ScarahStratton Thu 13-Oct-11 22:42:04

NormaSatansFelcher Thu 13-Oct-11 22:44:34

My name is scary and filthy grin

amistillscary Thu 13-Oct-11 22:45:26

Great name, Zombs (can I call you Zombs?)

I have chunky but very long legs. I'm glad to say they are not shit at all because they work very well. They move at the top and bend in the middle and everything. They're the bee's knees grin.

Anyway, we're not here to talk about legs.

Just come back from a little visit over to Property and DIY. I've bought a new worktop, advised on shelving and decided against posting about the state this house was left in when we moved in (raw sewerage running down the road from the drains was not the worst of it! shock ).

No zombies though hmm

ScarahStratton Thu 13-Oct-11 22:54:33

I can't see Zombies either. hmm

<thinks this could be some sort of plot>

caramelwaffle Thu 13-Oct-11 23:00:00

oh bottom - it is GoodHousekeeping - big hint: buy a labrador...munch munch

blackeyedsusan Thu 13-Oct-11 23:01:16

<also returns after randomly posting on various diy threads>

"i wanted zombies"

amistillscary Thu 13-Oct-11 23:26:20

I've seen them, blackeyedsusan! They've been all over MNHQ apparently, and even lemon juice and bicarb hasn't got the stains out of the carpets! shock

Personally, I think they should have shipped some of the spare limbs over to the Homemade Christmas thread to see if they could have 'upcycled' tham into something naice...

I'm thinking zombie arm candalarbras ( blush at totally hopeless spelling!)...
Zombie leg skins re-used as Christmas stockings (red and green colour theme from all the blood and mould that will have grown by Christmas)...

<<too tired to think of any other zombie-limb related Christmas Crafts.>>

<<Amistill wonders if she's lost her touch>>

KouklaMoo Thu 13-Oct-11 23:38:33

Tut. Everyone knows you need vinegar plus bicarb to get rid of zombie stains.
