to get the pregnant girl from Two Shoes out of the show?

They make a fortune from the phone vote, so why on earth would they forfeit that so they could alienate viewers by taking the decision away from them? AIBU to bet the girl told them she was pregnant, they said "Oh fuck we can't have her on the show, what if something happens to her, what are we going to do?" and they came up with this "twist" to get her out?

yeah I thought the same, they really did need an excuse to get rid of her.

But it was really bad this weekend. Way too long and not enought of a wide range range of views on the act. Some off them were really bad

probably very true... they were crap though Grin

but it came out she was pregnant before judges house so they didn't need to let them throught to the live shows if they only wanted to get rid of them.

They were pretty crap so maybe that is why they went?

I dunno - but that little blond girl in the under 25 category was pretty pissed off. She was so shocked she couldn't speak - lol

Oh yes - couldn't possibly be because they were shite could it? Nooooo. Let's put a bloody anti-women spin on it!

It seemed to me that she only announced she was pregnant once she was through cantspel, how do you know it came out before judges houses?

the live shows runs for 12 weeks and there was 16 acts so it want pretty clear that there was going to be something drastic in the first show to get rid of the extra acts.

YABU to think anything about the x factor isn't a scam Grin or not scripted

Report
gordyslovesheep · 09/10/2011 22:21

to be honest I think YABU a) watching this shite in the first place and b) giving it an importance above and beyond that appropriate for a bland talent show

The Essex girls were crap - pregnant or not.

As much as it would be, er, lovely to watch a live televised labour, we think it's more likely that the girls will make it to judges' houses and then have some sort of emotional showdown, before being booted off so that Charley can enjoy her first pregnancy in peace, rather than on primetime TV

They were pretty crap to be fair but then everyone was. Tis shite this year. I don't give it any importance really gordy, it's just something to talk about, like the weather.

Disclaimer: I never talk about the weather, except with my MIL who is beyond obsessed with it.

Maybe, but they were shite. And as an Essex girl myself I will usually fight the cause.

But that blond girl getting booted off in the girls category made me laugh...this is the girl who proudly exclaimed yesterday that she had never cooked nor used a washing machine before staying at the x factor house....spoiled brat Hmm

I don't care. They got rid of the right people. SPot on.

The twist was planned last year though. Even I can count up the episodes and work out that unless they were going to eliminate two a week for the next four weeks it wasn't going to work out without a ditching pre the real live show. Also, last year they only had 12 people in the live show didn't they? Confused

Anyway it's shit. I'm only watching it because I'm pretending to be dahn with the kids Wink and could somebody kindly explain what bring it DOWN means as I am v confused after last night.

Does anyone think Tulisa will actually keep in touch with those girls like she said she would?

I'm thinking....erm...no.

Report
Arachnophobic · 09/10/2011 22:33

Tulisa will not keep in touch. They have nothing in common.

I love the XFactor - I hate the auditions because they take the piss out of clearly vulnerable people - but the live finals are great - and Gary Barlow is kinda cute...

Noooo! Gary Barlow looks like he has his head on a stick. And someone operating him from above.

I knew as soon as they announced they were cutting 1 act from each category that the Essex girls would be gone, partly because of the pregnant one. But they were absolute shite. I think I only actually liked 5 acts last night, the rest were utter crap. And it was blatantly obvious tulisa was acting like it was such a difficult decision for her to make... Puh-lese!!!

I wouldn't say no discobeaver, he has a dirty glint in his eye...

they reminded me of the fat slags Grin Blush

it was a fix. they must ahve deliberately given them a bad song. imo

I like Johnny - he's so bad he's good.

Report
cantspel · 09/10/2011 22:54

I like Johnny too but i dont think his voice is bad. Pretty unusual but he sings in key and his judges house song was really good.

But Craig to win.
