Surely if we learned anything from the whole Slutwalk experience, it is that clothing, no matter how offensive, can't be construed or excused as an incitement to rape? All these t-shirts really say is 'I'm a wanker'... and maybe they serve a purpose in keeping their owners nicely out of the gene pool.

Companies House will have all details if its a limited company.

AuntieMaggie Sat 08-Oct-11 17:51:19

I think the whole website is sick.

SoupDragon Sat 08-Oct-11 17:51:33

Since their ethos appears to be deliberately offensive t Shirts, do you really think complaining to them is going to achieve anything other than hilarity in their office?

squeakytoy Sat 08-Oct-11 17:51:45

I suppose if you go looking for offensive tshirts, that is what you are going to find.

I wouldnt expect anyone with any sense to buy one, let alone wear one though.

It's only the Calm Down one which is offensive. The STFU one - if it is genuine - is well within the bounds of robust debate!

thunderboltsandlightning Sat 08-Oct-11 17:52:43

Bad as it was, I'm pretty sure the Slutwalk wasn't on the side of misogynistic rape-promoting t-shirts Cogito.

HoneyMomster Sat 08-Oct-11 17:53:06

It's not the item of clothing Cogito it's the text.

CogitoErgoSometimes Sat 08-Oct-11 17:53:07

Stop publicising them... ??

Are there MNers actually out trawling the internet for offensive t shirts this week? Where are you finding these from? They arent things that would usually come up on anything I search for.....

BlueKangaroo22 Sat 08-Oct-11 17:55:03

Yes but in all fairness i realised after i posted that you must have really had to search for this........why? why go on something you KNOW is going to piss you off or upset you?

For christ sake get a grip

CogitoErgoSometimes Sat 08-Oct-11 17:55:38

So what about the text? If a woman wears a t-shirt saying 'Rape Me'... and the worst happens, is she to blame?

HoneyMomster Sat 08-Oct-11 17:56:18

who cares if it's publicising them? i don't think MNers are going to boost their sales by much.
Condemn ignorant prickishness wherever you find it, I say.

I don't get the publicity argument.

isn't it better that 1000 people think you and your customers are ignorant pricks, rather than 10 people thinking you are funny?
