Just reading through another thread and found someone whose name is incredibly similar to mine. Am now feeling a bit put out! AIBU?
It's the Halloween name thread by the way. If anyone not on their phone can work out if she's been here longer than me please do tell and I'll get back in my box!

Unrelated to your question but due to your thread title I fancy some cake now grin

Hardgoing Wed 05-Oct-11 23:44:30

Bela, I also thought the same. One track mind.

Moodykat Wed 05-Oct-11 23:45:41

Oh tits! It's late! Can I delete this thread now out of shame at the spelling mistake? blush

Northernlurker Wed 05-Oct-11 23:46:10

I came on to ask how your name had been covered with marzipan and raisins too....

ZacharyQuack Wed 05-Oct-11 23:46:29

mmmm stollen

If the other name is something like "MoodyCat", how would that poster know to look for a name with "Kat" in it? Perhaps the other poster is a better speller? wink

Moodykat Wed 05-Oct-11 23:47:29

I'm such a wanker. I am normally a spelling pedant too. Feel so ashamed.

aldiwhore Wed 05-Oct-11 23:49:29

Excellent thread title grin

Don't feel ashamed MoodyKat, you have made me drench my keyboard in diet pepsi.

WhoresHairKnickers Wed 05-Oct-11 23:50:02

YANBU!!! Someone nicked mine and added a 2 and I am unreasonably annoyed by it to the point where I have temporarily namechanged.

OvO Wed 05-Oct-11 23:51:11

Do you mean 'grumpykat'? If so then the poster has been using that name since the end of August. So not very long. But I dont think people are going to mix up the two names.

Hecate stollen my name on another thread. She promised to use it for eevil grin

Have you PM'ed the other poster if it bothers you?

Northernlurker Wed 05-Oct-11 23:52:20

I can't move without falling over people with 'Northern' in their name.

Bloody annoying.

Especially as one of them (I think she's gone now) was a total pita.

Moodykat Wed 05-Oct-11 23:55:18

Am confused by the sister in law comment! Haven't PM'd as can't really be bothered! Do feel a bit violated though! Maybe it's time to ditch this name anyway. Then I could start afresh with no more hideous spelling fuck ups! grin

Moodykat Wed 05-Oct-11 23:56:12

Oh dear. I could also use less exclamation marks with my new name.

KatieMiddleton Wed 05-Oct-11 23:59:28

I thought this was going to be a Christmas food thread. I am disappointed sad

Kayano Wed 05-Oct-11 23:59:43

Sister in laws using very similar names, thread on another topic...

Moodykat Thu 06-Oct-11 00:00:27

Can we pretend it is?!

humptybumptious Thu 06-Oct-11 00:01:55

Have Stollen as your Xmas name. Everyone will drool over you and you will be luffed.

CauldronsTrulyReign Thu 06-Oct-11 00:06:37

It's a marzipain in the arse when this happens.

humptybumptious Thu 06-Oct-11 00:07:53

Yes, but you can always go back to raisin children.

MrsDistinctlyMintyMonetarism Thu 06-Oct-11 01:31:24

<drools all over thread>

<wipes down surfaces with clean cloth>

<runs off to Aldi to buy stollen>

Petisa Thu 06-Oct-11 02:33:02

you freaks, marzipan is the work of the devil

themightyskim Thu 06-Oct-11 09:50:51

Stollen, I could just eat that now cant wait for the christmas markets to start so I can get the nice fresh goods smile

Would be a bit gutted if someone else had my name, I struggle to work out who is posting at the best of times without someone really confusing me grin to add Stollen to my list of craving OH really must try and satisfy......

CoffinGoneMouldyAgain Thu 06-Oct-11 09:53:50

Don't like Stollen, I do however love Lebkuchen! smile
