To think that mumsnet isn't particuly sexist. I've just joined Dadsnet, cos you know I'm a dad. And come across this post from some bloke complaining about the misogony(sp) of mumsnet and campaigning for dads to join and provide a balancing action.
WTF?
I understand that a few women come across as not liking or have a problem with men, it's understandable because of personnel expeirence with bastards.
But for the main it's cool.
It pisses me off that people need to go on about it. It's a big site if you don't like a thread go to a different one!

Yanbu- there are a few male posters around - mostly It isn't really noticeable (unless it's explicit from post that they are men eg talking sbout feeding). It's a site for parents. I am not sure have seen what you mean about women not liking men as not been on dads net much.

YANBU

Most women around here are like poodles on heat at the sniff of a male poster. Grin

The misogyny of Mumsnet!!!!??
WTAF??
Misogyny means being sexist against women. Mumsnet is definitely not misogynistic.

Being sexist against men is Misandry. Go tell them not to use long words until they have looked them up in a dictionary.

I thought Dadsnet was a sub-folder of Mumsnet awash with tumbleweed. Are you saying that some fool has actually set up an actual website?

Sounds like the kind of place where it's mandatory to drone on and on about F4J whilst wearing Spiderman pyjamas, if you ask me. And I'm a bloke.

Dadsnet has got tumbleweed blowing through it and a man playing a banjo in the distance.
