the dogs basket with him, they look so cosy and snuggly and since they've been there for 2 hours already AIBU to leave her there all night?

It would be a sin to wake her, she loves the dog, he's her best friend, they are always together, even share lunch lol

She shares lunch you say... does your DD prefer chappie or pedigree chum? Grin

aww, how sweet.

I used to cuddle up with my dog (German Shepherd) as a child - loved it!

Leave her for a while, but not all night - although I'm sure you knew that anyway.

Thanks for sharing :)

Or do you just throw her a bonio?

One of mine did this :) So gorgeous. Love dogs :) especially those that give space to kids in their bed :)

I would move her though, after taking pics, just on the very very very off chance the dog gets spooked in the night.

They share toast and crisps, it's really sweet. I even catch him licking her hands and face clean, he's such a good mum lol. It's a mongrel btw, bit like a lassie dog but with short legs.

I have found my dog makes an excellent alternative to baby wipes for cleaning my DD's face after lunch/dinner. She also makes a good hoover.

Yuck! I love dogs, but I could allow one to lick my DD's face and hands! Sorry OP!

Report
reelingintheyears · 28/09/2011 21:05

Arrgghhh,i hate dogs licking people.

They lick their willies/fannies/arses then people let them lick their faces...

YUCK

Report
AbyIsl · 28/09/2011 21:05

Yes, they do make very good hoovers though!

reelingintheyears · 28/09/2011 21:06

But,do you ever give her a bonio?

I love my dog. He's my little prince.

I would however, vom if he licked my child's face clean with his dog bum tongue. I was on board with the cuteness until that point!

Meh DD is constantly digging in dirt and chewing on unsanitary things. Infact I would actually be more worried about the dog catching something for her...

DogTiredDD · 28/09/2011 21:08

I have found her eating his biscuits sometimes but he doesn't mind, if our other dog did that he'd snap at him. This is how much he loves his littel human friend.

My DD ate a Wainwright's dog treat yesterday, she said it was nice and herby.

I'm not sure on the letting them sleep together, its not like they're same sex or can top n tail Grin

Anyone else playing bingo on this thread? Grin

I'm waiting for the OP to say the toddler walks the dog round the block twice a day.

My DS (21 MO) loves his dogs so much he munched into one of their stray TURDS a while back. Absolutely no ill effects what so ever thankfully, with the exception of me gagging for an hour afterwards....
