oh yes they're in too#but the bulk is courgette
And the lumps of courgette that failed to make it through the blender add an interesting twist Envy

They probably thought I was a loon, but they did send me some vouchers... which were not much fecking use as I still couldnt buy the sodding soup!

I love soup leek and potato being a favourite here and also very healthy as well as easy to make.

Well you can add other stuff to the frozen ones after you have defrosted them. Some red peppers and pumpkin or butternut squash would be nice. And definately garlic, soup always needs a bit of garlic.

If all you could taste was the pepper, you definitely need stock cubes Grin

Potato and Leek soup (with chicken stock cubes) is gorgeous!

Not sure courgette lends itself to soup as it's boiled. Courgette is lovely little veg and needs olive oil (for some, butter) a bit fried or a bit grilled with seasoning and then some lemon juice. Not a main ingredient in soup, surely.

Worra, do you blend it? I prefer it not so,

I also do a mean chicken and veg soup which DS2 insists on being blended and having crusty bread with.

ohhhh I am sooooo hungry sob sob ready meals is all I can managed with 1 hand in use ffs. Sad
