It was meant to be our (rare) night together in front of the TV...I worked all morning then cleaned the house top to bottom..I had a shower and joined DH on the sofa for our planned night of crap tv...he's watching some violent looking Western....I'm a bit peeved but try to get into it...then it got more and more violent with an image of a dead child...now since having DC I CANNOT watch anything with children getting hurt....makes me ill...I ask him to turn over and explain (again) that I can't watch this...

He keeps procrastinating....then he puts the menu up reluctantly and leaves the film on i the corner of the screen.....so I can STILL see the film.

I ask him...again...change it to nything just get it off! And he doen't so I hve left him to his shitty film and "our night" has gone to the shit.
AIBU to go to bed in a huff? Should add...I have worked 10 days straight...literally NONE stop....and was looking forward to a night with DH.

You can get him back by making him watch some crappy drama, although the downside to that is that you'll have to watch it too

DH constantly pulls this one : "Let's have a movie night, just you and me", which swiftly translates into a trawls through the usual suspects (Ice Road Truckers, Pawn Stars, Deadliest Catch, the one with the storage units in Vegas) then "Oh, there's nothing on, hey, switch off your light and get an early night, babe, you're shattered" (euphemism for "Christ, if you would just start snoring I could ratchet up the moral high ground here and watch Mythbusters already".
