To argue with the 'psychic' on netmums? (To the point of maybe getting banned! hee hee)

Someone has just offered £25 for a 'reading with a meaning'. I know I am pre-menstrual, but have continually argued against her. I would love to believe, but also feel that vulnerable peole believe it when told "You are at a crossroads... You see two ways ahead.... Someone has hurt you... I see you sitting at a table... You are planning a trip! I mean PLEASE!!!!!!

Kate says: Ann, I hate to have a go at anyone. I do, however feel that vulnerable people can be sucked into this. If you have watched Derren Brown he shows clearly how people can do a 'cold reading' successfully. It isn't psychic powers. Ann, please explain how you do this.

I knew a real nasty bitch years ago who touted chat forums for trade as a 'clairvoyant'

She used to search people's posts and dig up information about their dead children and other tragic events

I know of several "Animal Communicators". Yes that is correct, there are animal psychics out there too. I have experienced on lady first hand who would charge £30 a go for a 15 minute reading for people's horses.

There's another one on a forum I frequent who is able to do a distance reading from a photograph of your animals.

It really is unbelivable what people actually get away with doing legally.

I have often heard "You are at a cross-roads, there are changes going on,someone has hurt you, your not sure which direction to turn. Once, when the reader was clearly failing, she said "You are going on holiday..." It was July! But I wasn't. She clawed her way back with"someone you know is going on holiday". Please listen to Derren Brown. And Ann, if you would be prepared to give me a free reading which I believed (because I refuse to pay £25) I would happily come back on here and eat my words, with apologies left right and centre. I presume that my offer will not be accepted.
And no, I am not being rude, I am trying to help vulnerable people think twice before handing over money to someone who can talk to the dead. Don't you think the dead would have more interesting things to say than "Look in the bottom of the wardrobe... or the letter J is important? Please look after yourselves and ask why?

Ahhh. I can tell you've recently eaten some jam. Fruit preserves consumed in September are indicative of forthcoming sneezing, possibly in a barn. Were you born at lunchtime?
