AIBU?

To think that the Chuggingtons are dickheads?

They are though, aren't they? Grin

Bloody stupid idiot trains coming bouncing out of their sheds at the start of the theme tune. Do you realise, you locomotive bastards, that if trains jolted up in the air like that IRL, that there would be Serious Consequences? And I hate the way that they just go around doing what they like. Yesterday, one went to visit a puppy. Who told her she could do that? In Thomas, they do what Sir Topham Hatt tells them and the GWR is a better line for it. And Thomas and his friends don't go boogying all over the tracks and make the front of their engines lift off the tracks just because they're excited.

DH says that I am a loon.

The same could be said for the bloody stupid Timmy Time - normally little lambs aren't sent to playgroups ..... mmmmm Lamb shanks ....

While we are on the topic, surely Builder Bob should be sectioned - talking machines, talking scarecrows and says nothing about the dimness of the rural countryfolk ....

And don't start me on Postman Pat, the shittest postman in the world. Has he EVER got a parcel to it's intended destination without getting it lost up a tree first? He needs sacking.

Have you ever watched special agent oso??
Thick bear that apparently is training to be a secret agent but cannot seem to remember the most basic instructions and all his missions involve him being taught how to do simple tasks like posting a letter or tidying a room Hmm

I find it disturbing that in both Chuggington and Thomas it is deemed perfectly normal to talk to a train and then go for a ride! Shock You're inside a sentient being!!

Don't get me started on Bob and his sentient equipment. Just don't.

Anyone remember when chuggington first started and MN got lots of bizarre posts from "mummies" who couldn't stop singing it's praises, urging other "mummies" to show their kids and saying how wonderfully fresh and contemporary it was in comparison to Thomas?

Had ds been a fan I would've banned him watching just because of their shite marketing and assumption that all " mummies" are too thick to realise when they're being (really fucking badly) schmoozed.

3rd and Bird.

So what's today's story?

Will it be something along the lines of - Muffin wants to do something, everyone else says no. Muffin decides the rules don't apply to her and does it anyway. Everyone else is inconvenienced because Muffin has stolen/lied about/broken something but decides that Muffin is quite cute and so she gets away with it and what they end up doing is enabling her to do exactly what is was she wanted to do in the first place? It usually is.

I pity Mr Beakman when she starts school. Her parents are making a rod for their own back.

I bloody hate Chuggington. Plus they've been 'trainees' for ages - are they that shit that they still have to practice being trains? I quite liked Underground Ernie because I like the theme tune but I cannot cope with the bloody moralising and pointless squeaking of Chuggington.

In the interest of fairness, Zingzillas is worse.

There's only 13 or so people in ponty flaming pandy how do they have so many fires???!!!
Why has Jason never been tempted to borrow grandpa's shrinking hat?
Have kerri and wimpy cbeebies boy had a falling out because they used to do the bedtime hour and now it's just her?!

This is why I stick to Auntie Mabel. She soothes me with her acrylic 90's knitwear and songs about teapots and boxes.

And holes. And poo.
I luffs Auntie Label.

Kerri looked very skinny yesterday on Cbeebies. I was half worried for her and half envious.

There is no escape from Chugginton here (or Thomas) but compared to a lot of the stuff on childrens TV its great!

Give me Chuggington over in the night garden, or gigglebiz anyday!

64 Zoo Lane. The girl is a delinquent. The Parents are feckless and the ZooKeepers should be arrested for keeping a menagerie in the same space as a 3 story terrace.

I'm think of reporting Handy Manny to Rougue Traders. He never pays his suppiers (kelly) never has even the most basic materials in stock requireing additional trips to the stockist (again kelly). And his tools genarally break more things than they fix, thus creating more work for Mannys buisiness.

scrappydappydoo · 20/09/2011 14:05

Dreams - I think you'll find Manny pays Kelly 'in kind' once all the tools have gone to bed...
Same with Bob and Wendy.

I think the only redeeming thing about Nick Jr is the 'Ben and Holly' cartoons - the rest could be happily confined to room 101 never to see daylight again ...

Does anyone know if SS have been alerted to Charlie and Lola? I never see their parents about, and it's concerning... Would Charlie be mature enough to know what to do in an emergency?

I have to agree with your DH. You are a loon Grin
