I always take my little lamb for a walk in the bugaboo about 11 as it gets her to sleep and gets some exercise for me to help get rid of my bubbaflubba!

we live near a park on a hil and quiet often I'll stop and have a sit down on a bench to admire the view while she sleeps.

yesterday I had taken a coffee and some home made florentines (naughty I know lol) and was enjoying a peaceful moment wgeb rhe traffic starts building up. as I was sitting there gently rocking the pram a van slowly comes through the traffic with music blaring out. angry

I was highly visible sitting their, minding my own business, I think he should have turned it down out of respect of me and my lo, it took ages for him to pass as he was stuck in a jam.

His van was all labelled up with a local firms details(one that I frequent a lot!).

WIBU to phone them to remind him to have consideration for the general public, especially those with prams?

nobody wants to have somebody elses choice of music hoisted upon them do they?

GypsyMoth Tue 20-Sep-11 12:08:04

Why did you have a lamb in the pram?

worraliberty Tue 20-Sep-11 12:08:08

Please tell me you're joking?

<rocks to and fro>

winnybella Tue 20-Sep-11 12:08:17

Ha ha ha grin

You're joking, right? <makes sure>

ColdSancerre Tue 20-Sep-11 12:08:38

Well you can't expect a lamb to walk ILoveTiffany, they only have little legs.

Is this a serious thread? Surely not.

Byeckerslike Tue 20-Sep-11 12:09:09

What coldsancerre said smile

TandB Tue 20-Sep-11 12:09:21

Nice try, OP. If you hadn't used the words "little lamb" and "flubbabubba" in the first paragraph you might have got away with it.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe Tue 20-Sep-11 12:09:47

Lamb? Bubbaflubber <shudder>? Van in traffic, spoiling your special time... Really, OP? confused

You're being ridiculous and your post made me cringe.

meravigliosa Tue 20-Sep-11 12:09:51

bugaboo? florentines? Hehehe

TheReturnoftheSmartArse Tue 20-Sep-11 12:09:52

This has cheered me up no end. grin

Wouldn't mind one of your home made Florentines, if you've any left??

smartyparts Tue 20-Sep-11 12:10:00

Very good grin

Huffythetantrumslayer Tue 20-Sep-11 12:10:05

Yabu in the same way I was unreasonable when ds was a baby and someone would walk past talking too loudly and wake him from his nap in the pram! How very dare they? grin I hated it but I would have been very unreasonable to tell them to shut the fuck up, which is what I wanted to do.

ZacharyQuack Tue 20-Sep-11 12:10:16

OP, I think you'll find that you're never more invisible than you are when you are pushing a pram.

ColdSancerre Tue 20-Sep-11 12:10:28

bubbaflubba - am laughing and vomiting at the same time.

OTheHugeRaveningWolef Tue 20-Sep-11 12:11:51

Hubba hubba! Bubbaflubba!

<has hysterics>

Huffythetantrumslayer Tue 20-Sep-11 12:11:51

Fgs why do I take so long to type? I miss all the fun!

mumblechum1 Tue 20-Sep-11 12:11:55

Good one. Was you wearing your shell suit at the time?

harrietlichman Tue 20-Sep-11 12:12:06

Bubbaflubber! Love it! Good one, OP, but you over-egged your florentine- flavoured pudding a little.

ShirelyKnottage Tue 20-Sep-11 12:12:42

In fact once I'd reported the van driver I would report the company itself to the Police. There are laws against noise pollution and people like this make sick. LOL
