dd2 is not very good at going to the toilet when she needs it. Some days she will be great and others not so much. (she is 3y3m)

When she started nursery last week I asked the teacher to keep encouraging her to use the loo. Last week was great no accidents at school, i thought she'd sussed it. Anyway Mon and Tues this week she came home wet both days (teacher must not have noticed) So Wednesday asked the teacher again to encourage her but not to ask "do you want the toilet?" because she will just say no. Yesterday was fine, today she'd had 2 accidents one being in the softplay attached to the school (theres a sure start on the other side of school)

We go to messy play/soft play every saturday morning but if dd has pee'd in the soft play then more than likely it will be closed for cleaning, and i'm sure i'll hear some people calling the girl who pee'd in there (they wouldn't know who it was) so not sure whether to go or not.
Also Any tips on how to stop her "accidents"? I'm hoping after today she will have noticed its harder to pee herself than go to the loo (ie needs to get chhanged etc) but not holding out much hope.

Why don't you put her in a pair of pants and put a pull up over them? That why she will still feel if she's wet but you won't risk her weeing all over the ball it. And still take her to the toilet regularly while you're there.

At that age my DS needed more than encouragement. Are you against telling her to go to the loo rather than asking i.e. last thing before going to softplay / nursery? Can the teacher just make it a thing that she has to go to the loo at lunchtime? I know some kids are totally trained from an early age, but think it's so difficult when they're engrossed in enjoying themselves.

I wouldn't worry too much about people talking about her wetting herself. Anyone at the soft play place will either work with young children or have children, so will all know that these things happen.

It wasn't me taking her today, it was her class and teachers so i wasn't there to make sure she went.
