I know it's Saturday night, the weekend, the possibility of a lie in tomorrow for many etc etc, so AIBU in wanting to come on MN to say I think my neighbours are fucking cunting bastards, just because tomorrow my kids will be up at the crack of Dawn regardless of the fact that it's Sunday?
Bunch of twatting arse biscuits.

Plus their taste in music is appalling.

Do you live on my street? Fucking students have returned, being all "alternative" in the front garden and saying things to each other like (from boy, to girl with big knockers) - "you look wonderful tonight - hic"

They will be at it until 4am and I am pregnant and pissed off, they are brave thats all Im saying.

Have you considered feeding your kids a large helping of blue Smarties, a bunch of FruitShoots and some fizzy pink syrup then sending them out at 6am with permission to make as much noise as they wish?

Not students here changing judging by the tunes blaring out from their sound system I'd say they were in their mid thirties but having trouble leaving their teenage years behind them.

I have often found that playing my music loudly at some unearthly hour in the morning helps me to feel much better about the whole thing

What are the cunting bastards playing?

Judging their music tastes to be poor might make you feel a bit better Smile

Argh, they have a dj, he is now singing along to some crappy french 90s song, I have just realised my vocabulary in swearing is far from developed enough to describe these people.

Our knob-jockey noisy neighbours have finally fucked off into town. They'll be back by 2 though, and at it again. The police will be round for the other neighbours at 3 as usual. And then the first lot will wake us up as their 'friends' leave for the walk of shame in th morning.

And ds will be up at 6.

YANBU

I called the local police, they just said they had more important things to deal with and that we were the only ones who had phoned so we must be BU...

I feel for you. Our upstairs neighbours don't seem to be having a party this weekend -unlike every fucking weekend through the school holidays. And if they're not having a party they're banging on the ceiling making our light fittings rattle and waking up our children.

DH says theyve got until eleven and he is going round with the air horn to shut them up! Knowing him he will end up joining in and come home at 5 am with a traffic cone on his head Hmm

DH has been out trying to figure out which shithole it's coming from, to no avail. Now have turned the fan on to dilute the noise.
I have an iPad and will be looking for a profanity app.

YANBU. You also would not be unreasonable to encourage your dc in very loud games early tomorrow morning which incorporated lots of running around and screaming.

Noisy neighbours make me weep. I once lived above a snooker hall where they used to turn the music up when the last customer left at 2am. After a few months I got hold of the Area Managers' mobile. It stopped shortly after.

However, am the only one who quite fancies and drum and bass version of ABC?!

I have New Students next door and have warned them that I get up at 6am every day and that the walls are thin BOTH WAYS. And that I don't mind getting up a bit earlier if I have to. With RADIO 2 on.

YANBU. My next-door bitch neighbour has a birthday every weekend in September, for her and her dc's. And they have VERY loud parties on the Friday and Saturday night every weekend in September, every year. All I can hear right now is thud thud thud boom boom. We are in a VERY small terraced house, as is she, the walls are made from fag papers (or so it seems, as I can hear the neighbours switching their lights on and off Hmm ), and I can't bloody sleep. Strangely, DS3 is sleeping through it, which means that just as I drop off when the music stops at 6am, he will be awake 30 minutes later.

I HATE her.

OP - They are bastards. Send your dc out at 6am with their noisiest toys, and ask them to screech. A LOT. Very loudly.

Spoke too soon - Song changed, and DS3 (7mo) now awake for the third time tonight. POO.

LeBOF · 11/09/2011 02:02

How loud is it? Unless it's major bass thumping, I doubt it's any different from you having the telly on after the kids have gone to bed.
