...was on acid and should be shot?

(Not because he/she was on acid, just because it's so painfully dreadful)

I've often wondered if the viewing experience would be enhanced if I was on acid. Grin

i love it. it's like the opiate of the toddler.

YANBU. Even my toddler detests it.

YABU, it's a lifesaver sometimes :o , the only bad thing is that when you have watched so many episodes you find yourself actually enjoying it...worrying!

It's better than Eastenders or Coronation Street but it's no Balamory.

Isn't there always a rather trippy kids program on? Remember the original magic roundabout ?

I think there has been worse - Teletubbies is my pet hate. The language is so irritating!

YABU, music is good and whoever it was is raking it in Grin

Agreed! What the heck is with the Ninky Nonk? One minute it's this little thing going past Iggle Piggle at waist height, the next he is dwafed by it and can actually get inside!

And don't get me started on the blatant child abuse in the Pontipine family! Delicious food for Mr Pontipine. Delicious food for Mrs Pontipine. Runny grobbels for the children...

DD goes to bed before it finishes. Sometimes when I forget to turn the TV off I can hear the incessant squeaking going on downstairs while we're trying to have a nice quiet time upstairs.

It's not very relaxing!

Taking acid oneself might be the answer poor...

YANBU but can we also add to that Me too. I fucking hate that programme.

Report
tethersend · 06/09/2011 18:51

I don't mind it.

Apart from the Pontipines, obviously. Right bunch of cunts.

ThePathanKhansWoman · 06/09/2011 18:55

Tethers you can't say that about the Pontipines, they,ve got a lot on their plate you know.

Now the Wattingers they are a bunch of anti-social fuckers.

My 4 year old is obsessed by it - he has autism - I preferred the Thomas phase!

Report
BalloonSlayer · 06/09/2011 19:00

The Pontipines are clearly in the Witness Protection Programme.

Why else would Mr Pontipine have a false moustache that keeps blowing off?

Only 2 of the children are theirs. The rest are MI6 special protection agents. That's why they are so hard to find: they are not hiding, they are deployed in covert surveillance.

Aww, but it's so nice to talk along to. 'Take the little sail down, light the little light...'

Although the Ha-Hoos would be fun to pop with a big needle.

I cried when I found out I was expecting another child and realised that meant another 4 fucking years of ITNG.

I like it Smile

The music is great
It keeps the kids quiet for half an hour

What's not to like?

Report
HoHoLaughingMonster · 06/09/2011 19:04

I love it. The theme tune at the end when Igglepiggle sails off in his boat has been known to make me cry Blush

My mum says it is a metaphor for death Confused

Mind you when I was little I liked the Clangers, the magic roundabout and Noggin the Nog.

So that might explain something.

I can cope with it, actually. I have a deep loathing for Waybooafuckingbloodyannoyingloo though. The repetitive music, the stupid floating creatures that waffle crap throughout, the whole of Nara should be blown up. Closely followed by Balamory.

i love it too. (well, i use the word 'love' comparatively) it's better than that terrible programme that's on early morning with the singing scottish "granny", who appears to be about 34, and the brightly coloured hospital... i can't even remember what it's called but it makes my teeth itch
