But how would that in any way be helpful? Confused

YABVU, I am on several other forums (not parenting) where they have this and it is just sodding depressing. 242 people have looked at your thread, not one fucker has bothered to reply.

At least on here you can pretend everyone is just too busy to look Grin

Can't link on app, it's in products, household goods.

Need a recommendation on a new dishwasher Smile

It wouldn't be helpful you're right but Netmums has it Wink

Go for Bosch or Miele. I've got a sleek black Bosch with an adjustable top basket and a timer button that delays the start.

This should be in Site Stuff.

Just because netmums has it doesn't mean we should. As my mum would say 'If netmums jumped off a cliff would you follow?'

Of course that usually got a chorus of 'duh....yes!' in reply but the point stands... Right?

I'm sure that there is an official reason why we don't have this but I can tell you from personal experience of belonging to a different (non-parenting) forum Shock that it is BEYOND depressing to have these.

You start what YOU think is a fab thread and then see that 78 people have opened it but not one bugger has posted. Sad

Much better to think that's it's got lost somewhere on active, no?!

On the dishwasher thing, a Bosch won MN Best in our reviews

Thank you Olivia think Bosch is a winner then, a few more months of saving for me then Sad

For the record I don't think those 'x people have seen this thread' things are a good idea, but knew I'd get a few responses Wink like you all say they are pretty depressing!

Also for the record I don't actually know if Netmums has this, I was blinded last time someone linked to a thread over there Grin

OP = it's all about a catchy thread title, n'est pas?!

Report
PlantHasABabyBean · 05/09/2011 20:13

Should my original thread title have contained the words fruit shoot, netmums, greggs sausage rolls, hugz, lol and added the dishwasher part quietly?

Or something like 'AIBU to park in a mother and baby space so that I can fit my new dishwasher into my side door? By the way which dishwasher would you recommend?' Grin

I wish there was (and perhaps there already is) a way to mark or find the last post I looked at on a thread, so I didn't have to guess what page and search later on.

Some threads move so fast, by the time I get back to them there are pages and pages of replies and I can't remember which page I last looked at.

Even numbers on the posts would help.

Is there a way to find the last read/first unread reply? Please tell me there is and I've been too thick unable to find it up until now.
