AIBU to wear leggings all the time are they flatering or silly i tried jeans dont fit

i tired jeans on 12s to big and 10s too small at waist

do you wear leggings?

do you wear them with tops that cover bum or not

i am slim 5ft1and 8st

Leggings are awful on anyone of any age and any figure.

You obviously haven't tried many pairs of jeans on either - all brands fit differently.

I wear leggings with tops that cover the bum. I'm 5ft 3" and a size 8/10

I find with jeans, 8 is too small and 10 is too big on the waist so I wear a thin belt...problem solved.

I wear them if I have a shirt/tunic top on that covers my bottom. In fact I am wearing a pair today with one of my husbands huge shirts (he's 6'2" I'm 5'2" ) as all my jeans are in the wash and we are staying home waiting for the Virgin Media person to show up!

I wear leggings sometimes, but I am ginormously fat and find them comfortable. I am past caring whether they are flattering or not, they go round me and keep the flab from waving in the breeze.

I wear leggings a lot. Usually as an alternative to tights if it's a bit chilly. I wouldn't inflict my bare milk bottles on anyone. I even have jeggings and leather look ones shock horror

I like leggings in the winter with a long jumper/dress that covers the bum and boots.

I like jeans too. I am a perfect size 11 and it's a nightmare to find anything to fit me. I do have jeans that fit well but it took me weeks to find them. Just go and try some more on if you want to wear jeans..

I think leggings suit lots of people of all shapes and sizes. Saying they don't suit anyone is as nonsensical as saying jeans don't suit anyone.

You could also trying buying from stores that sell jeans by the waist and inside leg measurement rather than "size 12". Men's trousers are sold like that.

Insomnia - nonsensical I may be, but I find leggings hideous on whoever wears them. Even my 6yo DD (who looks good in whatever she flings on) looks awful in leggings. They are the most unflattering and cheap-looking form of clothing ever invented.

Have you tried H&M? I could never, ever find jeans for the same 'too big in 12 but too small at tummy for 10' reason but H&M fit perfectly.

It takes all sorts and wouldn't do for us all to like the same blah blah (insert more cliches here).

I personally think leggings can look awful, but they can be worn well. I love my style and don't really mind if others don't. I dress for me, not other people.

I HATE ugg (and similar) boots, but tons of people love them.

You have to be very careful with leggings, I wear them with floaty dresses in summer and knitted dresses and boots in winter but not as an alternative to trousers with a top. Even if tops are past the bum unless they are a decent few inches past leggings look awful.

Tops that only meet the waist band of leggings make me feel physically sick, no word of a lie, the wearer might as well be naked, it's like wearing tights with no dress/skirt over the top.

You have to buy decent quality as well, tops shop thick enough and keep their shape, bought some tesco ones the other day, big mistake, thin material and baggy knees immediately.

I love leggins, top covers bum, ALWAYS! And nice boots. Hate jeans they make me look a lot larger than I already am and have a big fat bit of a tummy that legins cover right up instead of jeans turning me into a muffin.
