Of Doctor Who, or am I just a big whimp. It really creeps me out, most of the time. Or are you a bit scared too.

Eek blush

OhYouBadBadKitten Sat 03-Sep-11 20:32:40

This one was verrrrrrry scary. I ended up clutching dd blush

AgentZigzag Sat 03-Sep-11 20:33:59

I never watch it either, nobody could ever live up to Tom Baker.

Young upstart fake doctors <<dr who snob>>

I went upstairs to read after about 10 minutes.

rubbish, absolute rubbish.

DD is in our bed though. She was scared as a scared thing.

Those doll things were well creepy! confused

CoffeeIsMyFriend Sat 03-Sep-11 20:48:54

DS2 went to bed when it was only 20 in (had enough). He's since been up because he can't sleep approximately 17 times!

Thought it was a great episode - classic Dr Who

Nice and creepy - thanks Mr Gatiss...

Nagoo Sat 03-Sep-11 21:00:14

I haven't watched it yet, the trailer looked terrifying.

I love new Dr Who but it's not family viewing IMO.

AgentZigzag Sat 03-Sep-11 21:03:17

I thought that was the spec for a Dr Who script Nagoo?

'Make small children hide behind setees'.

missmogwi Sat 03-Sep-11 21:03:49

It scared the bejeesus out of me nevermind the kids. It was a bit much for the time it was on! Although I am a mardarse.

MotherMucca Sat 03-Sep-11 21:05:21

Oh, bugger, forgot about it being on. iPlayer here I come.

SarahStratton Sat 03-Sep-11 21:06:45

It was great. This series is shaping up to be much better than the last one. Except they forgot to let Hitler out of the cupboard last week...

Nagoo Sat 03-Sep-11 21:11:38

agent My DS is only 4 and I watch it first, and if it's not too bad he can see it.

"but I'm brave... and I can hide under the blanket"

PigeonPie Sat 03-Sep-11 23:18:48

osb YANBU - I was too blush good job that DS1 is still too young to watch it smile

BallerinaBetty Sat 03-Sep-11 23:55:22

I think we must be really odd cos none of us (me, dh and 12 yr old ds) were scared tonight.

Now if it was weeping angels....

Claw3 Sat 03-Sep-11 23:58:48

Dr Who used to scare the life out of me as a kid, i havent watched it since. Mind you so did Worzel Gummidge, which probably says more about me than Dr Who being scarey!

Tee2072 Sun 04-Sep-11 07:51:20

Sarah I had that same thought!

I found it a bit creepy but terrifying. Weeping Angels and The Silence are terrifying, IMHO.

Tee2072 Sun 04-Sep-11 07:51:45

URGH! But not terrifying!

SarahStratton Sun 04-Sep-11 10:21:58

The Weeping Angels and the one with the gas masks were the scariest. I only have to say 'I want my..' for DD2 to leg it and do as she's asked. grin
