therefore I think we should ban them. Or AIBU?

Psammead Fri 02-Sep-11 13:41:15

I say we aim for 50/50 representation in the courts by 2016.

Of course the statistics are slanted anyway. Female criminals are under-represented. They have to commit loads more crimes as men to get half the recognition and then they find it very hard to get back into the market after having children. It's very unfair.

It's the system we need to change, people!

They need to keep their heads down and do their porridge, and stay out of that naffing nurk Mackay's way. Probably.

ColdTruth Fri 02-Sep-11 13:48:12

Most destruction of the planet is done by humans can we ban them?

PerryCombover Fri 02-Sep-11 13:50:13

So we can consider banning men?

TheVermiciousKnid Fri 02-Sep-11 13:50:46

Currently, most of my procrastination is due to Mumsnet. Ban it!

margerykemp Fri 02-Sep-11 13:51:00

Ive heard castration at birth solves that problem.

TheVermiciousKnid Fri 02-Sep-11 13:51:21

'So we can consider banning men?'

Sounds reasonable to me.

CailinDana Fri 02-Sep-11 13:51:32

No! Don't ban men! Who'll take spiders out of the bath for me!

TheVermiciousKnid Fri 02-Sep-11 13:53:17

'No! Don't ban men! Who'll take spiders out of the bath for me!'

I have to admit that was my first thought. blush

PerryCombover Fri 02-Sep-11 13:56:56

If every household was provided with a spider catcher on a stick...could we do it?

MitchiestInge Fri 02-Sep-11 13:58:48

is it possible that we are just better at getting away with things than men? So perhaps we do commit genocide, for example, as frequently but somehow we are so much more skilled at concealing our crimes that they rarely come to light?

MitchiestInge Fri 02-Sep-11 14:00:07

as for spiders we can go on friendly spider course at the zoo and overcome phobias/fears

before we ban men, or can Dave be an exception? I like him

I'm not the kind of person who wants to go round banning things.

Instead we should keep men in secure institutions allowing some of them out to do useful stuff like DIY and carrying heavy things.

They could be made to wear hi-viz tabards saying something like: I'm a man. That's why I have to do these things.

I'd keep a few of them, men like Daniel Craig, Colin Farrell and Idris Elba in special units for breeding purposes.

CailinDana Fri 02-Sep-11 14:06:58

Good idea limited. I suppose the spider catcher on a stick would work, although I'd have to operate it, wouldn't I? <wibble>

I do think you're right about getting away with things Mitchiest, I definitely reckon just as many women as men cheat but they're far more stealthy about it. The same goes for crime, I'd say.

limitedperiodonly Fri 02-Sep-11 14:10:32

Spider-catching would be part of the work detail cailindana

CailinDana Fri 02-Sep-11 14:13:03

Oh good, let's do that then. Do we have to pay to go to the breeding centres?

Pan Fri 02-Sep-11 14:14:40

Most 'Take That' concert tickets are bought by women. Can we ban women?

CailinDana Fri 02-Sep-11 14:14:58

Oh and I suppose if you own a breeding centre you're pretty much required to test out the goods, just to ensure quality? <draws up business plan>

limitedperiodonly Fri 02-Sep-11 14:16:45

No. Like the NHS it would be free at the point of delivery.

bruxeur Fri 02-Sep-11 14:16:59

Women are inherently lazy, so find it hard to get out there and rob stuff. They should work a bit harder, then they'd soon break through that glass ceiling.

From above.

And rob stuff.

itisnearlysummer Fri 02-Sep-11 14:19:14

I like the sound of the breeding centres.

I'm in.

limitedperiodonly Fri 02-Sep-11 14:19:42

In your business plan don't forget to allow for the cost and time of gym sessions to ensure they were at optimum physical condition at all times.
