To fucking hate the owners of bastard Pigeons and to think they are worse than the average cunting cat and dog owner combined~?

Nasty flappy vile things.

And they shit on your head and all over the place, spreading their vile bird flu ridden germs all over the place.

And the owners are almost always ugly.

AIBU?

TakeMeDrunkImHome Tue 23-Aug-11 19:03:10

YANBU

and they have scaly feet and land on you when you are trying to feed swans.

Rabies infested fecks.

Ooh, we have an ex racing pigeon living in the futility room. She got hit by a car and DD2 rescued her. She traced her owner via her leg rings, and the owner told DD to kill her sad

Apparently, 2 more are arriving from a friend? to keep her company. She's a nice little thing, and very pretty.

NorfolkBroad Tue 23-Aug-11 19:04:44

OOOOOH God, I hate pigeons! I feel sick at the thought of them and their creepy flappy featheryness!

Whatmeworry Tue 23-Aug-11 19:05:54

Falcons....you ned to keep Falcons. Sorted smile

AtYourCervix Tue 23-Aug-11 19:06:14

Dances - you'll be needing a flat cap.

nasty red eyes.

Rowena8482 Tue 23-Aug-11 19:07:46

Rats with wings! AND I read "The Fog" at way too young an age and have never quite recovered from 'the bit with the pigeons' or 'the bit with the cows' but that's a whole other issue

DancesWithWolefCubs Tue 23-Aug-11 19:12:45

Noo, she has pretty black eyes. She's very sweet and we have called her Arabel. To go with Mortimer smile

5inthebed Tue 23-Aug-11 19:13:05

YABU, this would be solved if someone knitted them little booties for their deformed feet, and small waistcoats to keep them warm.

AtYourCervix Tue 23-Aug-11 19:15:03

How is mortimer anyway? where's SS?

miniwedge Tue 23-Aug-11 19:16:20

It's hamsters that get me. Their owners are almost always council tenants.

<shudders>

wink

DogsBestFriend Tue 23-Aug-11 19:17:10

Ah but you can train a pigeon to fly to your hand when you call his name.

And you'll find that they're very affectionate little souls especially if, like me, you're daft enough to hand rear orphaned ones. grin

It's not cats, dogs or pigeons you want to take issue with, it's chameleons.

Nasty, dodgy, confusing, buggers with shifty eyes, chameleons.

<<nods knowingly>>

AtYourCervix Tue 23-Aug-11 19:18:01

why the actual fucking hell would you want a pigeon on your hand? ew ew ew.

DancesWithWolefCubs Tue 23-Aug-11 19:23:01

I am SS smile

Mortimer is brilliant, starting to talk now. Well, he's got the syllables right, just needs to practice a lot on his wordage.

tethersend Tue 23-Aug-11 19:29:05

Look. Some of us remember the pigeon chasing thread. This will go the same way, mark my words.

The horror, the horror...

AtYourCervix Tue 23-Aug-11 20:05:00

Aha! wondered where ou'd got to. I only hate pigeons - i'd love a talking raven.

Why would anyone want to chase a pigeon? not like you'd want to catch the fuckers is it?

elmofan Tue 23-Aug-11 20:09:50

I know how you feel, my neighbour has 12 of the
buggers.

Crazybit Tue 23-Aug-11 20:10:37

grin

yanbu.

tethersend Tue 23-Aug-11 20:36:48

This is where it all went wrong

smartyparts Tue 23-Aug-11 20:38:42

Do people actually own them?

This is news to me!

bigeyes Tue 23-Aug-11 20:40:11

Ooo just had to read what was soooo bad the c word was used in thread title <scurrys back away>

ReshapeWhileDamp Tue 23-Aug-11 20:41:05

YANBU. Fucking horrible rats on wings.

Whatmeworry Tue 23-Aug-11 20:42:37

^I know how you feel, my neighbour has 12 of the
buggers^

Get a cat...not only will it kill the pigeons, but it will shit in their garden too. Bonus!

bigeyes Tue 23-Aug-11 20:43:10

Actually Seagulls are worse they pinch your food, walk right up to you and pinch the top off your burger bun, and swoop about a lot more near fish n chip shops at seaside and they bigger <skuttles off again>

elmofan Tue 23-Aug-11 22:31:02

well fed as their not interested in the flying vermin at all
