To be upset about my neighbours moving :(

I was not friends with them as such but our children played together ( most of the time there were plenty of tiffs as well) and I would see the mum at school most days for a quick chat and share trips to after school activities between us.

So why am I feeling so down looking at the empty house? The house will be occupied again in the next few weeks ( no idea who) and it won't effect my life any but I can't help but feel sad that they have gone

It's an 'ending' and as with all endings there is a percieved 'loss', that is what you are 'grieving' over (there are different catagories of grief).

You will get over it, try to focus on the new neighbours positives.
