AIBU to be fed up with so many repeats on TV tonight, on BBC2, ITV1, Channel4?

Anifrangapani Thu 11-Aug-11 22:59:32

TV has been really shit tonight.

MollieO Thu 11-Aug-11 23:00:07

Question Time isn't a repeat and is well worth watching.

Just what I was about to say.

People still watch live TV?! Don't they have internet connections?

LineRunner Thu 11-Aug-11 23:55:28

Torchwood and Questiontime in one evening, plus top notch news-casting. Thank you BBC! <Points of View-type squeaky mc voice emoticon>

Really, it's been ok.

And they can repeat the Tudors as often as they like.

Linerunner, I read your post in a proper Alan Partridge voice in tribute, excellent PoV letter grin

I am so very bored of TV in general atm, I have given it up until Christmas. DD and I put it in the cupboard last week. So please, only threads about how shit tv is until December or I'll be upset at what I'm missing.

Torchwood's rubbish! It's been absolutely slated in America (apparently!)

I caught a few minutes of it last night and the acting was appalling.

Why don't you switch off the TV set and go and do something less boring instead grin

Question Time is on too late for me. It's a real bug bear of mine. Have actually considered a campaign for QT pre 10pm - petitions and the like!

itisnearlysummer Fri 12-Aug-11 12:27:06

Just watch QT on iplayer.

I regularly fall asleep before it starts!

Sometimes we save it for saturday night viewing, when the tv is really bad!

How sad is that!
