There are children out on the strets, 8/9/10/11 years old out on the streets looting and firebombing properties. Where the hell are their parents ? Has anybody ever given a shit about them ?

I am sick to death of scummy fuckwits who pop out one kid after another, they don't teach them morals or empathy these kids are dragged up, they have no chance. I really wouldn't be surprised if some of them have been sent out with 'shopping lists' because after all, we all need a 50 inch plasma.

I really do think that people who aren't capable of being decent human beings should have the right to raise children taken away from them.

Rant over.

it only becomes apparent when they hit their pre teens/teens though.......who would want to adopt these kids then?

These kids out rioting aren't wanted, they aren't loved or cared for.

Instead of rewarding parents with more benefits for more children, the welfare system should give a £3000 bonus for every year that a benefit claimant (male or female) doesn't have a baby.

They should be removed before the damage is done.

And I hope the pictures of these kids will be passed around schools and the parents punished accordingly.

Just sterilise people who claim benefits. That would sort it wouldn't it? Hmm

Some of these children are brought into terrible situations. A lump came to my throat earlier today when I opened the paper (Daily Telegraph) and saw a picture of a little black boy of about 9 or 10 triumphantly holding up a basket of groceries looted from Tescos. That wasn't about materialism - that was about a little boy who thought he had done something helpful amongst this chaos and within his dysfunctional and probably bloody awful world. Of course the current situation is wrong as absolutely wrong as that little boy's life.

When this is over, it would be good to have a factual report commissioned ,giving the figures and statisics of those arrested, to promote change, if it proves to be needed.

What?

Who is capable and worthy of raising a child can be determined by a checklist?

As much as I disagree with this kind of statement id have to agree. My place of work was surrounded by the scumbags, a hospital with kids on life support, with cancer, terrible head injuries etc. All the parents needed was those lowlifes outside rioting to worry about.

There's a lot wrong with a society in which a poorly-qualified 16-year-old's best career option is to have a baby.

strawbezza....assuming they are on benefits are you??Hmm how about a LOW WAGE>>

How exactly would you determine at the birth of a child whether or not its parents were "scum", SatansLittleHelper? Hmm

my beloved DH has always said that everyone should be sterilised and you can only be un sterilised if you pass a personality and IQ test. some rich parents are just as bad.

Yes lets do that, maybe put contraceptives into the water of certain areas, maybe take away children from parents with less than 10 grand in the bank at birth. Or you could have tests which determine your character at 28 weeks pregnant, if you fail, bye bye baby, off to someone worthy. Hmm.

Chaos-if that was at me, i meant curfews and designated areas so at all times (not just during riots etc) DC's can be returned to their parents and it can be checked that the parents are at home.

It has fuck all to do with being on benefits or a low wage....... it's to do with non law abiding scum raising children to be non law abiding scum.

Don't try to turn this into a benefit claiments debate ffs, many people on benefits do a good job......myself included.

I beleive that some of the violence has been highly organised, you cannot group everyone there together.

Yes Birds one wonders what organised crime and drug deals have happened "behind the scenes" and orchestrated by those behind the gangs, whilst the police have been otherwise occupied. Hmm

What about Bullingdon Club members? Getting drunk and destroying someone's property is pretty scummy, even if you leave a wad of cash behind.

Let's just put everyone on mandatory contraceptive until they pass their parenting license test, that'll sort out the wheat from the chaff.

People really want to give the state control over procreation? Hmm

I was walking my dog tonight and there was a lot of movement in expensive 4x4's, vans, etc that are not usually about. I have a good idea of what goes on in and around my area (very rough) and things were very unusual. The 'lads' are indoors but there has been trouble at the Tesco's up the road, this hasn't come from anyone local. Wouldn't surprise me if there has been a big movement of drugs and guns while the smokescreen happens.
