disgusting and unappetising but ohnoudidn't, you sound like Bridget Jones's mum - 'Japanese - cruel race'. Funnily enough, other races are also cruel to animals, including ourselves. You don't get that much cheap chicken in supermarkets without livestock misery on a huge scale. It is just that it is hidden away

BakeliteBelle agree with you... our country also has problems with cruelty, and I am very aware of this, but these people make me sick. You also have the option of buying free range meat, although for various reasons people choose not too.

If this bothers you look up the film oldboy- there is a genuine live squid eating scene. Tentacles go all over his face too as he chews. Horrid.

It's not alive, so it can't be cruelty (if it was it still wouldn't call for casual racism) it's just biochemistry in (grotesque) action.
I guess you wouldn't have to worry about it being too near its sell by date.

I wouldn't eat it though. I have a policy against anything with tentacles.

FutureNannyOgg not racism.Hardly think eating anything alive is humane though which Japs do.

was walking in the countryside this week

there was a rabbit with its brains crushed all over the road

it's back legs and tail were still twitching madly though

< sigh >

Yes AF,
but did you want to eat it?

Please dont say you did -cos I would have to stop hero-worshiping you

Report
AnyFucker · 08/08/2011 00:11

123, nope

there was not even a reflex salivation at the thought of rabbit pie

I was just musing on the wonders of nature (nerve impulses still firing even though the feedback loop is gone, for example)

headless chickens also comes to mind
