She came to stay with me for a week bringing her DP and 2 kids. We now live by the sea, so this was their 'holiday'. OMFOOKINGG! They have taken the piss the whole time. Bite my tongue. Don't say anything. Mother will be uspet. They left today while I was at work, which I knew was going to happen. HALLELUJAH!

They have taken everything they brought with them and I mean everything. The unfinished cornflakes, the uneaten packets of crisps, the apples. She's even taken the milk out of the fridge that she went out and bought last night because her kids have guzzled the lot I bought. The kids campbeds are all left up, douvets and pillows all over the place, dirty cups in the bedroom she had.

I'm fooking livid. And breathe.........

changed name coz she knows my nick although I'm secretly hoping she sees this anyway and realises what a self-centred trollop she's been

She is a lazy, lazy woman.

Never ever have her back again.

I hope she sees this thread.

Sister of Charlie, seriously, what were you thinking. Short arms and deep pockets eh, as well as being lazy.

Part of the problem when living by the sea.....

They all think you're an easy hit for a freebie holiday.

I know,i live in Bournemouth.

Is this the first time she's come to stay with you since you moved to the the seaside? If so, I suspect that she & her dh now believe that their annual summer hols are sorted.

What a shame that when she attempts to book next year your guesthouse will be full, or her proposed dates will coincide with your own inland holiday.

Keep your fingers crossed that she doesn't plan a few weekends by the sea in the next months, and that we don't have an Indian summer.

We live in nice countryside (Last of the Summer Wine) and my BiL and SiL and their kids (1.5 and 4 ) did this to us last summer. And the parents kept "popping out" and leaving us to look after thier DDs, then coming back 4 or 5 hours later saying stuff like "it was getting on a bit, so we stayed out for lunch" and "well, we saw the cinema was showing a film we missed at home".

Has totally changed my relationship with them; eg: they are no longer DS's no.1 guardians in our will.

Apart from when they took themselves out to lunch, they did not pay for a thing, did not bring any kind of gift, left house in a mess, left half their stuff here which I had to post back and outstayed their welcome by several days.

Did she fuck. She didn't even include me or my kids in any of their activities, what with them wanting to spend time together as a family and all that.

Ooooh....we'd love to come and see you.....

Then they spend the whole time keeping you from work/eating you out of house and home/never buying wine/expecting lifts everywhere...

Aaarrrgggh.

Oh..and they fucking never shake the sand out of their towels/swim things and drag it all through the house.

Wait and see if she sends you a lovely gift to say thank you, a delivery from Ocado and a cleaner to sort out their mess; if she doesn't, don't let her come back.

You're all welcome. Generally I'm fairly laid back and love having people around. People who appreciate you that is. People who take the piss fuck me right off.

You fell for it last year so whyever did you let your ds & co make a mug out of you again this summer?

You do realise that unless you put an end to it now this will be an annual event?

Apologies Charlie - read Bike's response without checking out their name and wrongly assumed you'd fallen for it two years running.
