My DM:

They say we should be photgraphing butterflies as they're becoming distinct.

They say you shouldn't go swimming for at least 4 days after a meal.

They say Baracko Bama will be in office for at least 3 trems.

They say of you pick a spot, you'll have a pigsfoot there in the morning.

Who the actual fruck are they and do they invade your life too?

gah

Our local radio station does a lot of that.
Also constantly refers to "The People who run the Country"- that would be the Government then?
"The Man in Charge of the Country's Money"- err, the Chancellor...
etc.
We are all very stupid, clearly.
Had to stop listening, it was bad for my blood pressure!

I don't know, but I'm quite fond of Baracko Bama being in for 3 trems :)

Am I tiddly or is that the worst spelling of Barack Obama I have ever seen. Or is it an "in joke".

LineRunner · 03/08/2011 22:48

I'd also like Brack O'Bama to get 3 trems Sarah but the way it's shaping he'll be lucky to achieve the proscribed 2 trems for Pres.

It's a hot night TakeMe - have another Wine

Enough will never be done.

They don't miss a trick, according to my Nan. This can be in reference to anything, from benefits to scuba diving.

Are butterflies becoming distinct?

fascinating. I always get them mixed up with moths, so glad there is is some kind of progression in progress to differentiate them.

"They says that it'll rain later"

"yarp"

"They reckons that that there Cheryl Cole baint goin' ta get back with Ashley now"

"narp"

"They says that thar Ashley 'as an SAS chappie loik a minder and it cost 'im thousand quid a day, the soft shite"

continues ad nauseum

And those people who pronounce that you are "35% more likely to get" some horrible disease if you eat/drink/smoke/drive a car/ride a bike

More likely than what. More likely than Stan from down the road, or more likely than a vegan scottish sheep farmer. Or more likely than someone who doesn't indulge in the said behaviour.

Sorry, ranting now.

I've invented a liberal 'they' for these conversations. You can see it really throws my DH's aunt. Are 'they' contradicting themselves? Who am I referring to?
