...put patients' door entry codes on their addresses in their database?

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/8677789/NHS-security-breach-as-patients-letters-posted-with-security-codes-on-envelopes.html

I mean, would healthcare 'professionals' attach their home address to their door keys?

Or does everyone think it is a sensible and reasonable thing to do?

They have described it as a blunder.
It has little to do with 'health care professionals', it is the way that the information has been stored on computer.

At least it was picked up on quickly and the codes are easily changed.

Nothing related to the nhs surprises me anymore. I know there are some fantastic individuals working within the nhs, but as an organisation I really hope I never have to rely on them
