It's the vest tops I can't abide. Unless you're cameron diaz, please, they don't suit you.

It's not unfair to say that as a nation, we don't exactly dress the best. And also tend to bare our flesh at the slightest ray of sunshine, which is usually white, wobbly flesh, covered with rancid tattoos.

Just as well I'm in a burkha then. Or is that also unacceptable? Just so's I know, wouldn't want to upset you, or anything... Hmm

Please bugger off.

On a serious note though the surfer brands tend to be the best for summer clothing, good quality and good fit but sadly not cheap unless you know which internet sites sell them at affordable prices.

im liking it, I've gotten into cardigans so can just wear a vest top with cardigan all the time (on or off depending on weather). also, i think this decade is the decade where people just wear what they want.

I prefer cheap clothes, they don't give any false illusions about what type of person I am.

I can cope with the cheap clothes - not bothered.

What does bother me is men. Men who take their tops off and parade thier flabby, hairy, white, juddery bellies and saggy moobs to the world. And I live by the sea so they are LEGION.

It is vile. Please make that stop.

If that stops, women of the world can go round in 19p vest tops from Pri-marni all day long as far as I care.

GeneralCustard what sites are your tips then? I use the Animal outlet quite often and DH has some others online he's keen on but they're more his gender and style so I'm always keen to grab a bargain.

Tell me where I can find summer!?

When I was a child in teh early eighties I lusted after a cheap long t-shirt with fringes and beads around the hem.

I never got one and rightly so!

Now summer fashions pass me by. DC get shorts and vest tops. What more do they need?
