Thing is though OrangeHat a lot of people smell and probably have no idea. So the person him or herself is probably not the best judge of whether he or she smells.

Depends how much you sweat and to what extent you 'french wash' in between and change your clothes, use anti perspirants and how hot is is and if you are pig like - do mucky stuff.

For me 4 baths a week and a goof wash in between, more if I am swimming/wokring out.

On a serious note, if I shared an office (for example) with someone who smelled unpleasant I would think their personal hygiene was very much my business.

It doesn't take two mins to get a shower every day. IMO everyone should have one everyday.
