she has her grade 7 ballet exam at 1pm. She couldn't practice much because her knees have flared up again so is feeling a bit unprepared.Good vibes very welcome.
All the best!
<woo woo woo>^^ That's me sending telepathic waves of good luck to Mini-Atyour
good vibes sent your way@OP - you're not a saffer are you? Just asked as I've not heard the phrase "hold thumbs" for years
what's a saffer?got it from Ballet Shoes.
fingers, eyes, legs and arms crossed for her
has to be said. I'm more tense than she is
Saffer = South African
Good luck to your DD
thumbs clenched, let us know how she gets on x x x
Lots of luck for your DD (not that she'll need it)
We hold thumbs in our family - think it is a European thing, as they do it in Poland too (I'm of German descent).
Ooh wishing her good luck. My DD did her pre-primary ballet exam last weekend! I fear we have many more years of this to come!
Good luck I bet she'll be amazing! I miss my ballet classes... can't wait to go and see any future daughters of mine doing classes :D(note: nothing against boys doing ballet! If DS wants to join, he totally can!)
I wondered what that meant and was curious.Do you mind if I cross my fingers? I need to do some ironing and it will be tricky with held thumbs.
