Cyborg from a terminator movie and not a child

These names celebs are giving their children are getting worse

momino Mon 11-Jul-11 06:21:01

I don't mind the Seven part but did they have to ruin the name Harper?

kreecherlivesupstairs Mon 11-Jul-11 06:29:01

That's the name of the Beckham's child. Odd but no more peculiar than the others I suppose.

CheerfulYank Mon 11-Jul-11 06:35:12

Damn, I should have put money on Harper! I thought that might be it, but reconsidered on the assumption that they'd go uber girly.

<kicks self >

Gastonladybird Mon 11-Jul-11 06:49:32

Sounds like a toilet cleaner

cjbartlett Mon 11-Jul-11 06:53:18

Is harper a boys name too? Really thought they'd go for something more girly

TheMagnificentBathykolpian Mon 11-Jul-11 06:55:47

Sounds like a miscarriage of justice to me.

Free the Harper Seven...

CurrySpice Mon 11-Jul-11 06:58:25

I assume it's after Harper Lee and no Harpers Bazaar?! shock

Knackeredmother Mon 11-Jul-11 06:59:14

Gaston, exactly what I thought! Was there a toilet cleaner called this?

OhBuggerandArse Mon 11-Jul-11 07:01:14

Seven for Beckham's Man U short, I suppose.

travellingwilbury Mon 11-Jul-11 07:02:02

Blake Sevens sister grin

Or am I just far too old ?

SilveryMoon Mon 11-Jul-11 07:02:32

Another celeb called their child Harper didn't they? Was it myleene klass?

OhBuggerandArse Mon 11-Jul-11 07:02:32

Grr, too early in the morning. Beckham's MU shirt, not his shorts. Can you name a child after your shorts?

CurrySpice Mon 11-Jul-11 07:04:01

Yes "OhBuggerandArse"

Then you'd be called "Shorts"

MoaningMcMyrtlepants Mon 11-Jul-11 07:04:12

The toilet cleaner is Harpic.

No Travelling I was a BS fan too smile

HairyGrotter Mon 11-Jul-11 07:08:00

I'd have thought they'd have gone more feminine although, I quite like it.

GwendolineMaryLacey Mon 11-Jul-11 07:10:25

Sounds like a lager.

purepurple Mon 11-Jul-11 07:14:29

Sounds like those big cans of beer that were around in the 70s- Party Seven.
Poor child.

Furball Mon 11-Jul-11 07:20:21

lottiejenkins Mon 11-Jul-11 07:28:02

I think Harper is a gorgeous name. Very solid and traditional.

HappyDoll Mon 11-Jul-11 07:42:32

I quite like it, although the world seems hell bent on insisting its linked to Harpers Bazaar and ignoring the possible Harper Lee connection?!
She would be the 7th member of the family if they had previously lost a child as has been reported.

EricNorthmansMistressOfPotions Mon 11-Jul-11 07:53:03

At least Harper is a proper girls' name, albeit american. They do have strong american connections. Better than Brooklyn and Cruz! Seven is....well a bit silly. I understand the idea, but why not find an actual name that means seven/seventh?

TillyIpswitch Mon 11-Jul-11 07:55:10

George Costanza's ideal baby name was Seven. grin
