Some of you may know the story about my DD.

She died aged 14, 5 years ago.

When she was dying I was sitting with her and she was reaching out and smiling.

I said to her 'what are you doing darling?'

She told me 'I am catching the butterflies mummy'

She left us soon after and ever since butterflies have been a huge part of my life. Billie was like a butterfly. Beautiful and fragile and she bought joy to anyone who knew her.

Its my birthday today it was also the Memory Day a the local children's hospice. We let off some ballons and I took a photo of Billie's.

Its on my profile. Look at the shape the clouds are making.

thanks.

I didn't know the story about your DD.
How touching!
She was very beautiful. The photos you have shared on your profile are lovely.

The photo of the balloon is wonderful.
I hope you were able to enjoy your birthday today and to smile as you remembered the good times with Billie, rather than be too sad.

What a sad story. She looked beautiful Sad

Happy Birthday doesn't really seem appropriate here but I'm glad you could spend the day at the hospice Smile

Thank you. I am so thrilled. I was a grumpy cow yesterday. I was supposed to go out for my birthday but people pulled out for different reasons. Not their fault but I wanted to forget about my birthday because any special day is a bit crap now.

When we let the ballons off I just pointed the camera ,I know from experience its hard to get a proper photo of ballons miles up in the sky Smile

It was only when I put the photos on FB that someone pointed the shape out to me. Its made my day. Its so lovely to have something, anything to show me she is with me.

I am a pretty down to earth sort of person, dont usually go in for woo. But losing Billie has made me feel differently about a lot of things.
