DS is 12. I normally have to moan at him to go and wash his hair, which he is reluctant to do. He is also very difficult to get out of bed in the morning. Today, he got up early specifically to wash his hair, because "it was a bit greasy".

And the MN jury says ...?

Uh oh! The testosterone is starting to kick in! All downhill from here... ;-)

...he may have discovered Justin Bieber, like all the boys in my secondary school have (in a total non-sexual way ofcourse, but they have all fixated on shiny, coiffured hair with floppy fringes).

I nearly fell over when usually smelly greasy DSS came home, showered, brushed his teeth, used deodorant and put fresh clothes on. It was a girl. It stopped after they 'finished' although he does still shower grin

Hair washing may be the first clue.

Heavy use of Lynx is oftern the second!
