we live in a mid-floor flat. We just had new neighbours move in. They're great BUT how can i look them in the eye again after now knowing their whole sexual routine, pet names, ETC!

I should feel grateful tbh.. Our previous neighbours were 2 girls. Nothing against it but my god they went on for hours.

Ahh how i want a house right now..

I can't go to bed between 1-2 because my upstairs neighbours shag then - every fucking night. I have to either be asleep before or go to bed after. Head board banging. Groaning etc etc. Every fucking breath is uuuugh uuuuugh - I think maybe she has some sort of breathing problem.

I have a flat and want a house . . . for different reasons. Nobody would touch my neighbour with a bargepole.

OP and Giraffes are just envious! :o

Call them by their pet names.

Good morning snuggle bunny, great weather we're having

Hello mrpinkywinkywoo, I'm surprised you can walk after last night

Maybe they'll move...

Start playing loud music whenever they get going. Maybe they'll realise that if they can hear you, you can hear them too. If you only start the music whenever they start shagging, they'll soon realise that it's not a co-incidence.

Why don't you move to a house OP? (Genuine question btw)

OTOH, I can hear my neighbours very well too, and I am in a house, so I'm not sure how much of a difference a house will make tbh. Fortunately, I only have 1 neighbour. Grin

Poor you. I remember the night one of my ex-neighbours conceived their DD . I spent too many nights wishing he'd be premature.

we can't move until september, when the tenancy agreement runs out and goes onto a one-month rolling contract, we probably will then, we chose this place because it's close to both our workplaces and we don't drive..

I feel your pain. We're hopefully moving on Thursday, but I've just realised... Terraced house = the same problems?

I live in a big apartment block with another opposite. There was a couple who used to have the noisiest pornstyle sex ever until one night they got a standing ovation from about five flats when they went out on the balcony for a post coital cigerette Grin They were a little more subdued after that!

DW and I once heard a couple having a row in a hotel room one night - followed by a reconciliation the next, which from when we first noticed to the noisy finish lasted 43 minutes. And was followed from the room below by a burst of applause and two voices yelling BRAVO!
