Whenever I'm talking about MN I always say NM in order to disguise myself from snoopers. Does anyone else do this? Am I paranoid? Will they think I'm a hun?

I can honestly say hand on heart, I've never mentioned this or any other forum to other Mums. No particular reason, I just don't think to.

I'd never heard of MN or NM til about 5 months ago anyway.

there are sometimes where Im talking to OH or my mum or someone, and almost say 'I read about ....... on my forums', but have to backtrack because they would think im crazy for being here, as I have no children....

love the company though!

Sometimes you're in the middle of a story and they ask you where you heard something, or when someone from here sent you something etc...

Usually I say I read it in the paper. I've just realised it's less to do with people coming on to try and figure out who I am, and more that I don't want people I know on here in case they become regulars and I feel less free to post.

By the way, this thread posted twice, so there are two on the go...
